"Were you able to see anything?"
Arabella had asked the moment Ada's behind settled on the chair facing her.
"No, you were completely right. We are way too far for me to spot the slightest thing from here," the maid's eyes fell on the open book in front of her, "It's during times like these that I wish I had advanced senses," she sighed, plopping her cheek onto her palm.
"Always be careful what you wish for," Arabella chuckled, "Many of those can come true,"
"Well, in that case," Ada perked up and straightened her stance where she sat, "I wish I owned my own castle with my own servants where I can eat whatever to my heart's desire," a steady hand up, the maid had declared with much confidence.
After the fit of giggles that had overcome the both of them following Ada's highly animated announcement, Arabella took a new breath and with a smile spoke up again, "Is that truly your dearest wish?"
