I'm at my lunch break and I'm watching photos on the internet of Malachi and Billy, holding hands as a couple. They're everywhere together. In parties. At restaurants. They were even seen last night coming out of a private dinner party with Billy's family. Her uncle and aunt were celebrating their anniversary last night and Malachi went with her as her date.
My phone shakes in my hand, as I continue to glare at the phone. Everyone is staring at me at the lunch room at work. They're all seeing what I'm seeing. They're all seeing the same thing that is currently showing on the TV screen in the lunch room. The same thing that has gone viral for the past one week. Romantic videos and photos of Malachi and Billy.
I burn in embarrassment at the scene before my eyes. My legs rooted to the ground. I can't even move.
