Melanie.
Saturday, August 2nd. Next day.
It's 6pm and tonight I crave noodles. So I drive out to my favorite Chinese restaurant at Beverly Hills. I'm still in my gym clothes, cause I just finished breaking into a run in the gym, a few minutes ago.
"Hi Patty, can I have my usual, please?" I smile at Patty.
She nods eagerly, offering me a smile, as she works on the grills. Her grandfather set up this shop, years ago, when he migrated to the States. Over the years, he trained all his kids to learn the art of creating tasty and unforgettable meals. And since then, everyone has being hooked to 'Noodles4Us.'
"How was your work out this evening?" She asks me cheerfully as she stirs.
"It was hectic. I broke a new record." I inform her.
We both work out in the same gym. But she's stronger than I am. I can only do this once a week, while Patty visits the gym four times a week. She's a Nursing student.
"How's school going?" I ask her absently, picking up a pamphlet.
