Gazing at the golden-eyed, golden-haired little girl who bore an 80% resemblance to Huo Yuer, Ye Wen fell into deep thought.

The reason she wasn't named Wang Qiuer was because there was no Wang Dong'er in this timeline, and her resemblance to Huo Yuer followed the same logic.

"So, why did you take my surname?" Ye Wen asked curiously.

Unlike the original Douluo II, where Wang Qiuer merely transformed into a human form without entering childhood, Ye Jin'er had fully transformed this time.

The reason for this choice was simple: the rules of this world didn't allow soul beasts to ascend to godhood. Di Tian could regain his divinity because he already had the foundation, but if Ye Wen wanted to cultivate other soul beasts into divine beings, they would need to overcome the issue of breaking through their cultivation limits. Ye Wen didn't have the luxury of waiting for them to reach absurd levels like 700,000 or 800,000 years of cultivation.

The main challenge for soul beasts transforming into humans and starting over was integrating into human society. But now, with Ye Wen as their backer, these 100,000-year-old soul beasts were guaranteed protection.

This marked the beginning of reconciliation between humans and soul beasts.

Once they ascended to godhood, physical bodies and racial identities ceased to be barriers, allowing them to abandon narrow-minded prejudices.

The deep-seated grudge that the Silver Dragon King and Di Tian held stemmed entirely from their memory of the Asura God cleaving the Dragon God—a preconceived notion that fueled their resentment.

At its core, it was nothing more than misplaced anger.

The idea of taking Ye Jin'er as a disciple was Ye Wen's own suggestion. He believed it would gradually strengthen communication and relations between the two sides.

Next, Ye Wen planned to help other 100,000-year-old soul beasts and fierce beasts transform into human forms. After all, Douluo Star desperately needed divine-level combat power.

As for whether these transformed soul beasts could ascend to godhood, Ye Wen wasn't worried in the slightest.

Every 100,000-year-old soul beast that transformed into a human started with full innate soul power and possessed a natural understanding of their martial souls, giving them an inherent advantage. With Ye Wen, an experienced guide, leading the way, achieving godhood was practically guaranteed.

Curious about her new body, Ye Jin'er stumbled slightly, still unaccustomed to walking upright after spending so long on all fours.

However, as a favored child of the heavens, Ye Jin'er's talents across the board were maxed out, and she quickly adapted.

Tilting her head innocently, she replied to Ye Wen's question, "This name just popped into my head, and I thought it suited me well. Is it okay? Master Ye Wen?"

Hmm...

Faced with such an innocent and adorable little girl, Ye Wen couldn't bring himself to scold her. In fact, he even felt like raising another daughter.

Lifting Ye Jin'er onto his lap, Ye Wen affectionately patted her head.

"It's fine. Since we're master and disciple, calling me 'Master' makes you like my child. Inheriting my surname is perfectly acceptable."

Due to the memories shared by Huo Yuer, Ye Jin'er naturally harbored a high level of fondness for Ye Wen and thoroughly enjoyed his touch.

This scene made Huo Yuer, who had been silent until now, feel a twinge of jealousy.

"Waaah, I can't believe it works like that! If only I'd taken Master's surname back then. Now I want to, but I can't bring myself to say it—it's driving me crazy!!!" Huo Yuer screamed internally, her thoughts twisting in dark envy.

The Silver Dragon King watched Ye Wen with a complex gaze. This harmonious interaction between humans and soul beasts was something she had never witnessed before in her existence.

"Jin'er has successfully transformed. From this moment on, our alliance officially takes effect. I hope Lord Ye Wen won't betray the trust of our soul beast race," the Silver Dragon King declared solemnly.

Ye Wen responded seriously, though inwardly, he couldn't help but criticize her lack of emotional intelligence. Such distrustful words shouldn't have been spoken directly to an ally.

With matters settled, the Silver Dragon King finally relaxed her weary heart and reverted to her original form.

"My injuries are in your hands now," she said, her radiant eyes slowly closing. Even this brief conversation had drained her significantly.

Di Tian, now restored to divine strength, looked at Ye Wen nervously. Though deeply grateful to Ye Wen for helping him reforge his divine core, his loyalty to his master remained firm.

Ye Wen hadn't elaborated on the details of the Dragon God's situation, but he was confident that as long as these two weren't fools, they would uncover the harsh truth eventually.

After all, Ye Wen wasn't arrogant enough to expect others to blindly believe everything he said.

Treating the Silver Dragon King's injuries was part of their alliance agreement.

Though the Silver Dragon King possessed the strength of a High-Level God King, her lack of faith energy left her powerless to heal herself.

Slowly raising his right hand, Ye Wen infused her body with a surge of divine power.

Even in her deep slumber, the long-absent divine energy brought immense relief to the Silver Dragon King. Despite being in her dragon form, she let out a soft moan that made Ye Wen's heart flutter slightly.

"Mmm… Yue'er, Na'er, I miss you so much. I want to return to my true self so badly, T.T"

As a high-level fragment of Ye Wen's consciousness, this version of Ye Wen retained complete awareness and responsibility toward his main body, which made things rather uncomfortable for him.

Under the power of her creation godhood, the Silver Dragon King's wounds healed rapidly. After all, the Asura God who had inflicted them was merely a High-Level God King at the time. If the Silver Dragon King hadn't lacked divine power, her recovery would have been swift.

Watching the Silver Dragon King recover, Di Tian quietly exhaled in relief, his gaze toward Ye Wen now tinged with gratitude.

After self-exiling to Douluo Star, Di Tian hadn't felt this ease in a long time.

Seeing the fully recovered yet still slightly fatigued Silver Dragon King, Ye Wen turned to Di Tian and instructed, "The Silver Dragon King is fine now. However, the God Realm we'll face in the future remains immensely powerful.

I hope you can encourage your master to diligently cultivate and reach the level of a Supreme God King. This is crucial for both you and me. Please take it seriously."

The commanding aura emanating from Ye Wen caused Di Tian to instinctively nod. Realizing his mistake—he wasn't Ye Wen's subordinate—Di Tian hesitated to speak further.

Just then, Ye Wen seemed to recall something and tossed a pile of books onto the ground. Turning back to Di Tian, he continued, "Technically, I shouldn't meddle too much in your master's affairs.

But the Silver Dragon King is still young since her creation and hasn't fully inherited the Dragon God's wisdom. She needs to enrich herself through learning.

These are rare editions from my collection. When the Silver Dragon King awakens, have her read through them. To be honest, her current intellect doesn't quite match the dignity of being the ruler of all soul beasts."
