"Hey ... Rowan?" Selene called out hastily as she ran towards where Raine sat with Killian.
"Rowan. Please can I talk to you for a sec?"
"Yeah sure " Raine said with a gentle smile.
"I mean if you can step out a bit"
"There's no need for that"
"I thought you and Killian aren't that close"
"Not anymore. What do you want to talk about?"
"I'm sorry for the other day" she finally said. " Shit I know I should just have left you be but I thought fighting you could do so wonders to my school report and I was inconsiderate that you considered me your friend"
"It's totally fine Selena. "
Selene blinked, surprised by how easily Raine dismissed it.
"No, it's not. I was an idiot. I let my pride get in the way and I hurt you. I just… I really wanted to prove something, and I used you to do it."
