Chapter 76 - Three Days Rule

— — — — — —

With the full backing of the World Will, the treatment Veyron received in the Treeborn World (the name of this new world) was on a level even higher than your typical protagonist blessed by fate.

The catch? Every three months or so, he'd have to return to this world and, well… "play" with any woman that happened to catch his fancy, even Larentia.

All things considered, Veyron honestly couldn't come up with a reason to refuse.

He stayed in the Treeborn World a bit longer. Thanks to the new blessing of fate, he managed to push open the early stage of the Fourth Genetic Lock.

Only then did he finally leave the Treeborn World and return to his familiar home in Eientei.

Eientei

"How many?"

As soon as he returned, Houraisan Kaguya who was mashing buttons on the console, put down her game and fixed her gaze on him.

"…I did tell you to stop holding yourself back. Don't let those outdated human ideas restrict you now that you're clearly no longer human—but my dear daddy, don't you think you're taking that freedom way too far?"

The princess sighed and batted away his reaching hand. "Before you try to touch me, at least do me the courtesy of taking a proper bath first."

"I already did. Before I came back, I used the natural spring condensed from the World Tree."

"Doesn't count. Go wash again!"

Kaguya shoved him all the way to the bathroom—only to end up staying with him, helping scrub his back.

An hour later—

Fresh and rejuvenated, Veyron headed into Eirin's room. He entered her personal space to finally follow up on that long-postponed physical check-up.

But someone unexpected was already there.

"…This use of spirit energy… definitely has Eirin's style."

Veyron paused, sensing the flow of power. It was Fujiwara Chika.

She had awakened her spiritual power.

It had happened while he was back in the Treeborn World, busy waging "battle" against Laentia, Celestine, Olga, Claudia, and Luuluu—five women, elves, or goddesses depending on how you looked at it.

Anyway, excited about her awakening, Chika had even sent a 100-point red envelope to the group chat as celebration.

"Yeah, I've been learning from Master Eirin," Chika said, dispelling the spirit symbol she had been forming.

"After I awakened, I realized the training methods for using and purifying spiritual energy are even more abstract than the awakening itself. When I told Kaguya-nee about it, she brought me here to learn the basics from Eirin-sensei."

"Ooh! That's good. Eirin is a fantastic teacher," Veyron nodded.

Beyond pharmacology, Eirin's greatest pride was undoubtedly her brilliant mind—genius across all ages—and the immense knowledge she'd accumulated over her near-eternal lifespan, from astronomy to divine arts.

Of course, just like her medical knowledge, those skills weren't something you could learn without extraordinary talent and years—if not centuries—of effort.

That said, her other specialty was her legendary longbow, which Kaguya once joked might be older than the Lunar Capital itself.

More accurately, the bow was just the medium. What mattered was her technique: using spiritual power to fire arrows, or even forming arrows purely from energy.

So yes, learning archery directly from Eirin was a massive opportunity.

After chatting with Chika a bit, Veyron walked into Eirin's private chamber.

And then—silence.

"....."

A long, quiet pause.

Sure, Eirin could monitor all of Eientei from her subspace, even the entire surrounding bamboo forest. But a few places—like Veyron's room, Kaguya's room—were intentionally left as "blind spots" out of respect.

Still, with the way she was looking at him now, like she already knew everything…

Yeah, this was awkward.

"You can relax," Eirin finally spoke, perhaps realizing the silence wasn't going anywhere productive. "Out of respect for both you and the princess, I don't monitor what happens in your private spaces."

Veyron's smile twitched.

Then how do you already know everything?

"I was just passing by Kaguya's room when I noticed… a certain leftover white substance hadn't been properly cleaned up."

She picked up a test tube—one she'd been examining when he walked in.

Yes, this was Eientei, cloaked in Kaguya's power of Eternity and the Instant, meaning anything inside the house could renew no matter how damaged.

But not everything was affected by that power.

Food, water—and most importantly, anything Kaguya didn't want auto-resetting. ike her game save files. Or her PlayStation settings.

And so the sample inside Eirin's test tube? She'd found it stuck to the corner of one of Kaguya's gaming devices.

Veyron admitted. "Honestly, I was hoping to go over it with you this time. Was kinda worried you'd think I was being a perv."

Eirin was still staring at the test tube. "…Did you know about this?"

"Uh… only recently."

It was kind of like how he never noticed his clipped fingernails disappearing after three days—because seriously, who checks on old nail clippings three days later? He never had a reason to track… that kind of leftover.

And as for Eirin's previous analysis—whether it was his blood, hair, nails, or any other bit they'd tried to extract—once separated from him, those fragments would start losing their "connection" to him.

Within three days, they'd just completely disintegrate. Gone, like they were never there. No matter what, three days later—poof.

Even trying to use any of his extracted materials within those three days? Totally useless.

But this time… he'd stayed in the Treeborn World far longer than three days. Only afterwards did he realize something was off.

"My initial guess," Eirin began, swirling the tube's contents, "is that unlike hair or blood, this substance (Semen) is a type of inheritance medium—something that exists based on your complete self."

"So when the three-day mark passes, the Semen substance itself doesn't vanish. Instead, it transforms into a unique material—almost like a natural treasure."

She finished her explanation and looked at Veyron.

"Would you be interested in seeing what I've discovered from studying it?"
