As Aurora stood outside Alex's study, she sighed deeply, almost without a sound, before knocking.
"Alex, it's me. May I come in..." she asked when she heard him ask.
A slight frown creased her forehead when she didn't hear him respond.
Just as she was about to knock again, the door swung open, and Alex appeared with a concerned flash in his eyes.
"Aurora, are you okay?" Alex inquired, resting his hand on her forehead to feel her temperature.
"Alex, I'm fine."
A relieved smile lit up his lips.
"...I told you before, you only needed to call me. No need to bother yourself to come here; you still need more rest."
"I know, but Alex, we have something important to discuss. Do you have time now?"
With a warm chuckle, Alex guided her back to their bedroom.
"You look adorable now, Aurora. Why do you need to ask permission to talk to me? I'm not your boss; I'm your husband..." he remarked while resting his hand on her waist.
