Alex's facial expression brightened when he saw how adorable she looked at him now. He wanted to lean closer and kiss her alluring lips. However, her question snapped him out of his sultry thoughts just before he could do that.
Aurora lifted her lips teasingly before asking, "Since when did you like me, Alex?"
"Why did you even ask that?" Alex said, playfully pinching her cheek. Noticing the annoyed glare she shot his way, he quickly added, "You know I always like you, Rory..."
"I mean, as a woman, as a lover, something like that," her eyes blinked while she stared at him with a playful smile. "...Oh, Alex, please don't tell me you've been enchanted by my charm right from the start!"
Aurora was curious because she had never experienced him expressing affection towards her in her past life.
