"I'm so happy that we invested 100% of our powers," said Sylvara while walking amongst the rest. Her whip dragged behind her, leaving cracked lines in the earth.
"I mean it was hard then, seemingly doing nothing, trying to evade attacks and run from everything, but after I got that 300% power return, I felt so powerful, and combining that with some potions… I've never been stronger."
She swung her whip sideways and shattered a boulder clean in half, dust clouding the air. Saphyra, a few steps behind her, looked toward Sybil with concern.
"Are you sure you want to fight? If you're not feeling well, then you can leave. You've already helped enough by leading the witches against the goblins earlier."
Sybil's skin was a shade too pale, almost yellowish. Her eyes, however, didn't waver. She met Saphyra's concern with calm defiance.
"It's fine. I've been through worse. And we must not forget—this is the killer of Annie, our beloved queen mother."
