For the rest of the day, I sit by the window, observing the warriors train. Somehow, I've found my way back to Alpha Josh's dark, consuming room, just like his soul.
I fold my legs, leaning against the door, slightly knocking my head against it every few seconds, just to keep the thoughts away.
A loud banging echoes through the room, harsh and relentless. Whoever it is, they're ready to take the door down with them.
"Coming," I say to whoever it is. My legs are stiff and cramp when I move them. My throat is sore from not drinking ever since morning, but I was too afraid to get out. Too upset after what happened back in the dining room.
I don't move, just keep hitting my head and observing the white ceiling, almost hypnotizing me.
"Omega." His voice booms through the silence, igniting the butterflies in my gut. They swim and flutter, making my heart race uncontrollably, setting a desire within.
