I sat casually on the stone bench in the lower garden of the palace, enjoying the gentle night breeze drifting through the gaps between the leaves. On my lap, a succubus who had just finished her dance giggled softly, tracing her fingers over my neck with smooth, teasing gestures. Her face was very close to mine, and I could feel the warmth of her breath.
However, even though I was accompanied by a succubus who seemed to have an endless supply of ways to pamper, my mind was far away. Kaelith stood nearby, still with his unchanged cold demeanor. He was being approached by another succubus, a bolder one, who reached out to touch his arm and then gently traced her fingers along his face.
One thing was certain: the situation didn't seem to bother Kaelith at all. He merely glanced once, then returned to ignoring everything around him. Unlike me.
I shifted my attention back to the succubus sitting on my lap.
