Chapter 49 - Chapter 48: Shocking News

"I am Type B—Unit 5."

All five androids spoke in unison: "We are the Galactic Pursuit force, acting under the orders of sir Litaso. You are under arrest. We urge you to surrender peacefully and return with us to face judgment!"

"These damn androids are really starting to get on my nerves. Android 12! I'll take care of them!"

Android 11 stepped forward a few paces, the corner of his mouth curled into a disdainful smirk. "I'm right here. Come arrest me if you dare!"

"You plan to resist? In that case, we'll have to use force. Unit -5, you're up." The B-Type unit 1 android glanced at B-Type unit-5 and spoke flatly.

Unit- 5 nodded and stepped forward. "Then allow me to be your opponent."

Android 11 chuckled. "You look like you've got some power. Fine—let's have a little fun." As he spoke, his figure suddenly blurred and appeared behind unit- 5 in an instant. But unit- 5 seemed to possess some kind of precognition—he launched a backward kick just as Android 11 materialized, slamming it squarely into his head. The impact sent Android 11 flying through several buildings, smashing through their walls like paper!

Android 11 crawled out from the rubble, licking the blood from the corner of his mouth. His eyes now burned with a savage, bloodthirsty light. "Impressive... This must be that predictive combat ability mentioned in the reports. Looks like I'll need to get serious!"

With a loud roar, his energy skyrocketed. His once-slim frame rapidly bulked up into that of a heavily muscled super androids.

"What incredible energy fluctuations!" The members of the Galactic Pursuit force stared at their scanners, their faces full of shock as the numbers climbed rapidly.

"This… this can't be right! That power reading… The Pursuit force is no match for him! How could Roco have created such a powerful android?!" Onboard the spaceship, both Litaso and Jak gaped in disbelief at the rising energy levels displayed on screen.

"Showtime!" Android 11 flashed forward, suddenly appearing beside unit- 5. With a close-range punch, he struck the side of unit- 5's head. BOOM! The android was smashed straight into the ground, forming a massive crater. His head had caved in, sparks of electricity crackled all over him, and his eyes were lifeless—clearly destroyed in one strike!

Android 11 turned to the remaining four androids, grinning wickedly. "Now, it's your turn." In a flash, he moved again—one punch per android, taking each one down instantly. The Galactic Pursuit force didn't even last a round against him.

"Th-this is impossible… They were our planet's strongest androids!" Jak and Litaso were stunned, unable to believe their eyes.

"Jak, stop staring and move! Get us out of here before we all die!" Litaso shouted anxiously.

"Understood!" Jak immediately started up the ship. But just then, a beam of energy shot toward them from afar—BOOM! Their spaceship exploded in a fiery blast!

Jak and Litaso were thrown from the wreckage, only to land in front of three figures.

"Hehehe… Litaso, Jak! Welcome to Earth!" Dr. Roco greeted them with a twisted grin. His hideous, wrinkled face made the smile all the more terrifying. Standing beside him were Dr. Gero and the chubby Android 19 from the original story.

"Dr. Roco!" Jak growled through gritted teeth, glaring at him with hatred.

"Hehehe… Surprised, are you? Wondering why your androids are so much weaker than mine?" Dr. Roco ignored their hostility, instead looking smug.

"Why?!" The two demanded. They had to know what gave him the edge to create such powerful androids.

"Because I used to be just like you—naive, narrow-minded. But ever since I arrived in the Northern Galaxy, I witnessed a battle between two warriors… a fight so powerful it could only be described as terrifying. Compared to them, our strongest androids were a joke! So, I collected their genetic material and used it to create super androids—the very ones you just saw in action. Your pitiful machines could never hope to match them!"

"No way… There's no way such powerful lifeforms could exist… That's impossible!" Jak and Litaso were speechless, unable to accept it.

"And that's why I say you're nothing but frogs at the bottom of a well." Roco sneered. "You hunted me for three years. I suffered because of you. But don't worry—I won't kill you. I'll rebuild you as androids and send you back to Planet Hassak… where you'll personally destroy the planet you once protected! Hahaha! That's the price for exiling me!"

"You monster! We won't let you get away with this!" Jak yelled in fury. His body began to swell with energy. "Litaso, run! Don't let this man's plan succeed!"

"Jak!" Litaso gave him a pained look and pulled a device from his coat.

"A random teleportation device! Android 19—don't let him escape!" Roco shouted as he spotted it.

The chubby Android 19 lunged forward—but Jak threw himself in the way, blocking the android's path. 19 snorted and drove a knifehand strike straight through Jak's chest. Jak, blood spraying from his mouth, roared, "Litaso! You must return to Planet Hassak alive!"

With a BOOM, Jak self-destructed.

At the moment of the explosion, Litaso activated the device. A blue ring of light enveloped him and he vanished in a flash.

"Damn it! He got away! …Bah, just a rat. Even if he returns to Planet Hassak, what can they possibly do? As long as I have my super androids, what do I have to fear?!"

Back at Kame House, Master Roshi was lounging on a beach chair, sunbathing and flipping through a dirty magazine, chuckling lewdly to himself.

A large sea turtle waddled over and tugged on his pants with its flipper. "There's someone floating in the sea!"

"Yeah, yeah… why are you always meddling in stuff?" Master Roshi grumbled, still engrossed in his magazine. He lazily kicked the turtle aside, then suddenly realized what it had said. He put the magazine down and peered toward the ocean. "Wait—someone's what? Floating out at sea? Huh… There really is someone out there! But man, that guy looks weird. Turtle, go fish him out!"

Soon, the turtle came ashore carrying a short, ugly little man. It was Litaso, who had barely escaped using the random teleportation device. But the impact of Jak's explosion and the strain of space compression during the teleportation had left him severely injured and unconscious.

"Who the heck is this guy? Man, he really didn't win the genetic lottery, huh? And those injuries... yikes." Master Roshi muttered as he glanced down at the battered alien before scooping him up and heading back to his Kame House.

Once there, he rummaged through his wardrobe until he found a small box. From it, he carefully took out a single Senzu Bean. Walking over to the bed where the alien—Litaso—was lying, he muttered, "You're lucky, kid. This was my emergency stash—had to beg Krillin for it."

The Senzu Bean worked its magic in moments. Litaso's injuries vanished without a trace. He sat up, blinking in confusion. "Where... am I?"

"This is Kame Island—my home. Lucky for you, I had a spare Senzu Bean that just saved your life," Master Roshi said, leaning on his cane with the air of a seasoned sage.

"So it was you who saved me. I am eternally grateful! But tell me—do you know where I can purchase a spaceship? Mine was destroyed by that bastard Roco, and I must return to my home planet to report this terrible news. If I don't... the consequences could be catastrophic! Your Earth may be in danger too!"

Litaso spoke in a rapid-fire babble, leaving Roshi momentarily stunned. "Wait... you're not from Earth? That explains the... unique face. As for spaceships, only Bulma's family might have one. But what's this about Earth being destroyed? We've got Goku protecting us—who could possibly wipe out Earth?"

Litaso then launched into a detailed explanation. As he spoke, Master Roshi's expression grew more serious. "Androids, huh? Sounds like trouble. Hold on, let me call Goku."

At that moment, Goku was at the lab with Bulma and her father, studying various exotic minerals he'd brought back from Planet Rock.

Saeko walked in with a phone in her hand. "Goku, it's a call from Master Roshi."

"That old perv? What's he calling me for?" Goku picked up the phone. "Master Roshi, what's going on?"

"Goku! We've got a crisis! I just saved an alien who says Earth is being overrun by androids—super strong ones! They might even destroy the planet! You better get over here, quick!"

"What?! Androids?!" Goku was immediately alert. "I'll be right there!" He handed the phone to Saeko. "I'm going to Kame House. Stay here, don't go anywhere, okay?"

"Goku, what's going on?"

"Nothing serious—just a few small-time clowns. I'll be back soon!" And with that, Goku vanished with Instant Transmission.

At Kame House, Goku reappeared instantly beside Litaso, startling the alien.

Seeing the short and strange-looking being reminded Goku of the alien who had once taken him to Planet Frieza. Litaso looked strikingly similar.

"Where did you encounter the androids?" Goku got straight to the point.

"It was on an island to the south—I don't know the name, but there was a big city there. Or, well... there used to be."

"The south, huh? I'll check it out. Can't believe the androids have already shown up... That's one hell of a plot twist," Goku muttered. Just as he was about to teleport away, Litaso stopped him.

"You're going alone? That's too dangerous! Dr. Roco's androids are unbelievably powerful! Even the strongest androids on our planet couldn't lay a finger on them. According to Dr. Roco, he used the genetic cells of two Super Warriors to create a Super Android. No normal being can defeat them!"

"Dr. Roco? Never heard of him. Is he from your planet? Man, this storyline's really gone off-script... But 'Super Warriors'—now that sounds familiar. Don't tell me... did he get his hands on genetic samples from my battle with Frieza? Or maybe Broly? Could those androids be made using our DNA?"

"What?! Did you just say you're the one who defeated Emperor Frieza?! The mysterious hero who destroyed the home planet of Frieza?!"

"Well, yeah... I did kill Frieza. But mysterious hero?"

"So it really was you! Forgive my rudeness just now. You have no idea—ever since you killed Frieza, countless planets have been freed from tyranny. To them, you're not just a hero—you're a living god!" Litaso was so overwhelmed, he looked like he might drop to his knees and start worshiping Goku's feet.

"Oh? So I've got fans across the galaxy?" Goku chuckled. He was secretly a little flattered—after all, who wouldn't enjoy being revered like a god?

"If it's you, I know you can stop Dr. Roco! Everything rests on your shoulders!" Litaso solemnly bowed. Then, as if remembering something, he pulled a small device from his robe and handed it to Goku.

"The androids don't give off any energy—so your ki-sensing won't work. This is an electronic tracker, specially developed on our planet to detect androids. Keep it with you—it may prove useful."

"Oh? Now that's handy!" Goku beamed and accepted the device. "This thing wasn't in the original story... With this, finding those androids is gonna be a whole lot easier."!
