The great hall is filled with students protesting against Snape. On the table is Roy shouting,' we want justice ', occasionally adding a little spice to cheer up the flames that are already blazing hot in the minds of Hogwarts students. The professors are at a loss for words. Especially Dumbledore, from the beginning to the end, he saw the shadow of a person who made the whole wizarding world tremble at his mere name.

Dumbledore's smile stiffened. His hand trembled a little, he looked at Roy in disbelief. Meanwhile Panoma and Flitwick are trying to hold their laughter back. Snape's face is becoming gloomy and darker as the time passed. McGonagall had a stern look but she is casting incredulous glances at Roy. It isn't even one day and this boy is already causing problems.
Where is that well behaved boy she saw? She doubted her eyes at first. And that speech, just hearing those words made her blood boil. She also wanted to protest along with students. Shaking off those thoughts she took deep breaths and wanted to loudly said a shut up. But Dumbledore stopped and walked towards Roy.
He stopped Snape who is going to outburst at Roy and said," children. Your problem has been brought to our focus. We'll hold a meeting and ensure proper rules from now on. Give us some time. We need to discuss few things. But I assure you professor Snape is an excellent potions master. There are only a handful who can match his prowess when it's come to potions. For now, please have dinner and return to your dorms ".
His gaze lingered on Roy for a moment. He saw two different versions. Roy can be a leader for the new era or the new Grindelwald of this era. He called all the professors for a meeting.
Headmaster's office :
Snape is ranting about Roy and insisting that Roy must be expelled. Flitwick, Panoma and even McGonagall rejected this. They knew about Snape and his bias towards Slytherin. They didn't say anything all these years but now the students themselves are leading a protest against Snape.
If they expelled Roy it will definitely make others resentful because Roy didn't do any mistake. He questioned the Injustice that's been happening in Hogwarts and gathered students to protest. If Roy is expelled the three houses will either feel oppressed and outright target Slytherin or if this news get's out then Hogwarts reputation is at risk. Not to mention snape's dark history will be dug up once again by the daily prophet and then howlers will land on Hogwarts questioning why a former death eater is teaching in Hogwarts.
And why they expel Roy, a freshman to protect a former death eater. It'll become a huge mess. As Dumbledore voiced his thoughts all professors looked at Snape. Dumbledore said," Severus you need to change your ways. It's the only way now. If this protest escalated we both know how this ends. Better lay low and abandon a few of your bad habits such as insulting students and taking their points away unnecessarily. In addition we have to implement a new rule. Every deduction of points must be accounted with a valid reason from the professors. And I have one last request to all the staff members. Keep an eye on Mr Miller for me ".
Severus Snape looked at Dumbledore and felt aggrieved. Flitwick, Panoma Sprout, McGonagall, and all other staff members held back their laughter looking at Snape's look. It's rare to see the potions professor like this.
Dumbledore thoughts lingered on Roy. He is considering the future possibilities of this kid and his potential. ' he must be guided to a right path. I don't want another Gellert or Tom in this era. My old bones are already creaking afterall ', if Roy we're to hear Dumbledore's thoughts he would raise an eyebrow. Dumbledore easily ran and pulled Harry in the goblet of fire. If someone say Dumbledore is old, then he would be a fool. Of course if it's after Dumbledore is inflicted with a curse then he would probably agree.
