Yukong also let out a breath. The Lord Ravager attacking the Xianzhou Luofu—this kind of drama was not fun.
Thirty years ago, the Luofu had experienced a great war, the battlefield drenched in blood and fire, disorienting everyone.
That a Lord Ravager personally came and was dealt with perfectly was something she hadn't expected, not even dared hope for.
Although it was a good thing, and Cocolia was happy that Yukong's homeland hadn't suffered, still…
Cocolia looked conflicted, with a bit of a bashful girl's expression.
"Um, Yukong, can you maybe help me contact Lord Godzilla and ask when he'll be back?"

"I feel like that Master Diviner had something they wanted to say to Jing Yuan." March 7th's eyes swirled mischievously, watching the scene with interest.
"Heh, sometimes when a subordinate is especially competent and daring, it brings unexpected headaches to their superior."
"Uncle Yang, you sound like someone speaking from experience…"
"Speaking of which, what's big bro going to do? He's so huge. The Xianzhou won't just let him stomp down the streets, will they?"
Stelle tilted her head, trying to figure out how Godzilla could walk down the street without scaring the residents.
Given his size, and the fact that regular Xianzhou people look more or less like short-lived species, Godzilla standing there was like a towering wall. It's impossible for them to see him as anything but terrifying.
Even if Godzilla smiled at them, timid folks might think they're being served as an appetizer.
"We actually discussed this with the General. His idea is that the Scalegorge Waterscape is a good choice—it's guarded by Cloud Knights and we don't have to worry about people on the Xianzhou who've just experienced a disaster having a trauma reaction upon seeing Godzilla."
The two nodded in semi-understanding.
"I think I'll stay here with big bro."
"Oh come on, he's so huge—who could bully him? Let me tell you, that little Diviner just now kept staring at Dan Heng. And that knife-wielding Stellaron Hunter from earlier… if something happens between them, don't we need someone to mediate?"
March 7th pushed Stelle from behind, her feet moving fast. Welt chuckled watching this scene and looked back at the calm sea. A dark shadow was slowly walking toward them.
Welt could see a thick, long tail waving hello through the mist.
...
From afar, Qingque saw Fu Xuan and the General returning, and was just about to greet them—
But as a master slacker, her radar warned her that now was not a good time to provoke the Fu Xuan's wrath.
So she tiptoed, shrank herself, and tried to blend into the surroundings.
"Qingque ~~"
"Here!"
"Come with me."
"Yes!"
In the end, Qingque didn't manage to escape.
Fu Xuan's reputation had always been renowned among all departments in Luofu. Coupled with the Divination Commission's calculations, many people sought peace of mind by asking its diviners for a reading...
But today, everyone was avoiding Fu Xuan like the plague.
Exalting Sanctum.
The crowd parted like a tide, silently watching Fu Xuan, Jing Yuan, and the dejected Qingque walk away.
"Hiss~ Why is Jing Yuan walking behind? He looks a bit afraid of Master Diviner Fu Xuan," a random person said in confusion.
"Sigh, probably the General provoked Diviner Fu again, and this time he's clearly in the wrong. Just look at the General's face—doesn't it look like he's lost his authority?"
"Exactly. When my neighbor and his wife found out they were cheating on each other, they had the same guilty expression."
"Hmm~, huh?! Tell us more!"
...
With the outside noise shut out, Fu Xuan stood with one hand on her hip and turned to face the two before her.
"Speak."
"Lady Fu."
"General."
"This matter is actually..."
"Jing Yuan!"
Cough cough, "This matter is rather complicated, allow me to explain it in full."
Following the principle of confessing honestly when caught, Jing Yuan quickly explained everything he had done behind Fu Xuan's back.
There really wasn't much to hide, especially since Fu Xuan was skilled in divination. She had already sensed something was off back in the Scalegorge Waterscape. Continuing to hide it would only backfire.
"So you're saying you discovered a way to suppress the Mara Affliction—or rather, you've confirmed a method that can suppress it…" Fu Xuan murmured, her voice trailing off at the end.
"And then you just kept it hidden all this time!!!"
Her sudden raised voice startled Qingque, who almost had her hair stand on end.
Jing Yuan averted his eyes, clearly not daring to respond directly.
"Do you know how important this is to the Xianzhou?! Do you know the responsibility you carry?! You even sent Yukong out—do you have any idea what could happen if a member of the Six Charioteers faces danger while on duty?! You—you—you!" Fu Xuan was so angry her twin tails nearly sprang up to smack the General in the face.
Cough cough, "I didn't know beforehand—it was only after Yukong arrived that the discovery was made."
"That's no excuse! How long has Yukong been gone? I've asked more than once about her whereabouts, and you just brushed me off? Fine, Jing Yuan, I'll report this to the Alliance! When the time comes, prepare to give up your position as General to me!"
Fu Xuan turned to leave in a fury, but Jing Yuan hurriedly stopped her.
"Lady Fu, please don't get angry—it's bad for your health. Uh, Qingque, go get Lady Fu a cup of tea—the best kind, soothing for the stomach and sleep."
"Oh, oh." Qingque nodded rapidly and quickly left the scene.
Once Qingque had gone, Jing Yuan turned serious: "Lady Fu, it wasn't that I wanted to hide it. It's just that this matter is too significant. At that time, Godzilla was still on Jarilo-VI—what if the IPC acted first? Do you understand the consequences?"
"…" Fu Xuan, of course, understood.
The Xianzhou Alliance had paid a tremendous price to root out the Abundance's power. Even so, only six of the nine Xianzhou ships remained.
The Alliance had also been harassed by the Abundance followers, engaging in a protracted war with no end in sight.
If the IPC learned about Godzilla's abilities, would they still bother with bureaucratic procedures and medical aid distribution? They'd definitely act in secret.
However…
Fu Xuan narrowed her eyes slightly, recalling Godzilla's descent from the skies and his terrifying strength.
He had even defeated an Emanator easily. She doubted the IPC would dare to make a move.
"So… are you planning to keep Godzilla on the Xianzhou now?" Fu Xuan asked after a brief silence.
Unexpectedly, the General shook his head. Fu Xuan widened her eyes in disbelief, about to give him a sharp tongue-lashing when he said:
"Godzilla's movements are his own to decide."
Recalling Godzilla's entrance, Fu Xuan fell silent.
Indeed, with that kind of arrival, the Xianzhou likely couldn't stop him—nor would they dare to.
Given the Xianzhou's rites and decorum, they couldn't treat a hero that way.
"That's why I sent Yukong—to build a good relationship. As far as I know, Miss Tingyun of the Sky-Faring Commission has a good relationship with Godzilla. They're close enough to interact without issues."
"Oh? Then what about the bodyguard who's always by your side, shadowing you every day?"
"… Hahaha, as expected, nothing escapes Lady Fu's eyes," Jing Yuan laughed heartily.
Fu Xuan gave a light snort, then, after a moment of thought, said, "General, this matter is no small issue. I'm willing to help you. But as for the Alliance..."
"The usual excuse—the Lord Ravager Phantylia attempted to destroy Luofu, but thanks to the help of a nameless guest and Godzilla, we subdued her. The captive will be left to Godzilla to handle."
Jing Yuan waved his hand, settling the report then and there.
Fu Xuan gave a slight nod.
The main contributor to the battle was obvious. The prisoner should indeed be left to Godzilla.
Moreover, Fu Xuan knew that if Jing Yuan brought it up proactively, then Phantylia and Godzilla must have had some kind of connection.
But what kind of connection?
Fu Xuan couldn't figure it out. One was a towering giant beast, the other an energy-based lifeform.
How could the two possibly be related?
"Hehe, here's your tea~"
As the tension between the two eased, Qingque returned, carefully holding the tray of tea.
Just as she set it down and was about to leave, Fu Xuan's eyes lit up.
"Qingque, how did the task I gave you earlier turn out?"
"Eh? Ahahaha, you gave me so many tasks, Master Diviner Fu, which one are you referring to?"

Hello Everyone! LordIsland here!
The results of last week's poll are out:
Honkai Star Rail : 51 votes
Honkai Impact 3rd : 35 votes
Genshin Impact : 13 votes
Something Else : 17 votes
...
Based on the results, I'll be starting a new Honkai Star Rail Fanfic translation!
I'll try to search and find a good novel, and depending on the time it takes, I'll stockpile some chaps and start posting it by the next-to-next week or in max 3 weeks !!
...
I'll also try to see if I can find a good mash up of all 3 HSR, HI3rd and Genshin !
And another thing, for those of you who said me to try Arknights or Zenless Zone Zero, I'm sorry, I'm not up-to-date in the game content so if I try to do it, I make mix up some names or content while translating.
I'm not sure about the others but when I translate something I try to get the names and the details correct to a point 😅😅, so for now, no Arknights or Zenless Zone Zero translations
But if I find a mash up of HSR, HI3rd, Genshin & ZZZ or Arknights, will see in that case.
Hope for the best!
Anyway, signing off,
Have a good day/ night! ヾ(^▽^*)))
