" So you know? I'll get you a check, don't worry about it," Terry said with a smile on his face. Lukas today was just so much bigger than they anticipated that it even blew Phillies Chairman's mind.
" You know the mayoral elections are coming, right? How about you promote the mayor who came to your contract signing event"? Terry asked, while they were walking back towards Lukas's truck, where he could change his clothes.
" I don't know anything about that mayor, though," Lukas said while shrugging his shoulders, and then he didn't even let Terry finish his talk and entered the truck.
Lukas didn't want to involve himself in politics, not just yet at least, he wanted to be a neutral force for now at least.
