Time flew by, really fast, the wind settled. Dust began to rise, my movements were slow but deliberate. This was a training session with Marcus.
"Why are you slow" Marcus raised his hand which wielded the wooden sword, trying to strike my head. I bent, blood rushing into my head but then the movement rhythm changed and if I didn't react, it is the end.
Voom!!!!
The initial direction of the sword from my head now changed to my chest at an incredible speed, I haven't reached the time to dodge such with ease. I was almost caught off guard, all thanks to my speed.
This was part of Marcus' scheme, to increase my pace, I can understand. I wasn't giving him that urge to take this session seriously.
"You got to be kidding me." I was a bit surprised, he was ready to blow me up with a mana explosion, some kind of his technique.
