Then…
Gravity claimed him.
"Shit." Zarek almost forgot that he didn't have anything to fly with. As a Level 9, he still didn't have the power to soar through the skies without using equipment of his own.
Just as they were about to descend, the Level Six soldier actually moved swiftly and caught them.
However, when she caught Zarek, who had embraced Melissa, her expression immediately turned pale.
"Eh."
She took a sharp breath as if the air itself had turned cold. Her lungs felt worn out, and the sheer pressure made her hand nearly break on the spot.
Her Telekinesis couldn't handle such weight, and she was forced to the ground as gravity claimed her.
"You can't carry me. You're too weak," Zarek shouted, then lightly jumped up with Melissa in his embrace. The pressure on the female soldier immediately lifted, and she was finally able to fly again.
Then, just as Zarek moved swiftly, he returned and caught her, shouting:
"Let go of your Telekinesis!"
