The sky stretched clear and endless, not a cloud in sight. The blazing sun hung high, scattering countless golden glints across the shimmering sea. A gentle breeze carried the salty tang of the coast, blending with the warm sunlight to coax a faint drowsiness from anyone basking in it.

The "Three Calamities, Nine Difficulties, and Ten Tribulations" formed the complete authority of Taisai. Back in the mundane world, Yuto had slain the "Taisai Star God" and gained only the "Six Ren Divine Calculation" ability. Now, the system was helping him unlock the god's full power.
The Three Calamities were thunder, wind, and fire disasters.
The Nine Difficulties included life's struggles: lack of food and clothing, interference from elders, entanglement in affection, obsession with fame and wealth, unexpected disasters, restrictions from misguided teachers, conflicting opinions, waning resolve, and the erosion of time.
The Ten Tribulations spanned cosmic trials: Unity Tribulation, Duality Tribulation, Trinity Tribulation, Quaternary Tribulation, Five Elements Tribulation, Six Harmonies Tribulation, Seven Stars Tribulation, Eight Trigrams Tribulation, Nine Palaces Tribulation, and Infinite Tribulation.
These powers, rooted in Taisai's divine essence, held the potential to shatter space and time. In traditional lore, Taisai governed the year, dictating fortune and fate, a concept adapted to fit Yuto's heritage. While neither the Dark Gathering nor Fate versions of Taisai reached this level, the system had forged a unique path for him.
With the chance to seize such god-destroying power, Yuto had no intention of letting it slip away.
'Right now, I've already gained the wind, thunder, and fire calamities. If I unleash all three together, I could reach city level.'
Shaking off his thoughts, Yuto turned to the journey ahead. Guided by Erica Blandelli and aided by her maid Arianna Hayama Arialdi's near-ridiculous driving skills, the trio moved swiftly. In just twenty minutes, they reached their destination.
Lucretia Zola's home sat near a secluded forest on the edge of town. It was a simple stone cottage that belied the grandeur of witchly legends. Its plain exterior suggested either humility or indifference. As they approached, it became clear no one else lived nearby.
The courtyard was a tangle of overgrown weeds, hinting at neglect or a lack of interest in upkeep. Arianna, her wide eyes gleaming, stepped forward and pressed the doorbell. After a moment of silence with no response, Erica's brow furrowed in mild frustration.
"Is she out? Well, we can wait until she returns–wait, what!?"
Before she could finish, the door creaked open on its own. A lazy black cat stood in the half-open entrance, scratching its plump belly with an air of irritation, clearly unimpressed by the task of greeting visitors.
The cat led them to a bedroom filled with the strange scent of flowers. The room was a cluttered mess, and on a large bed lay a woman, reclining casually.
Arianna glanced back, noticing the cat had already wandered off.
"Oh my, welcome to my home. My divination told me I'd meet a relative of an old friend today."
The woman sat up, her eyes settling on Yuto. "But you're not who I expected. Who are you?"
Her expression shifted as she sensed something off. Lucretia Zola straightened, studying Yuto with wary curiosity. He, in turn, observed the ageless witch. Dressed in a light slip and purple stockings, her mature figure was accentuated by fair skin and flaxen hair that fell lazily over her shoulders. Every gesture carried an enchanting allure.
"Lucretia Zola, I assume?"
Yuto didn't bother explaining his arrival. Instead, he pulled out the Prometheus Grimoire and gave it a slight shake. "Tell me how to use this."
"Ah, the Prometheus Grimoire," Lucretia said, her eyes softening with nostalgia. "I found it deep in the Caucasus Mountains long ago. Such memories."
She didn't question how it ended up in his hands or ask for it back. "Whoever brings it, it's fate's will, haha. And you, young lady, who are you? You don't look like you're from Japan."
Her gaze shifted to Erica, who stepped forward with a knightly bow. "I am Erica Blandelli, a Great Knight of the Copper Black Cross. Due to certain circumstances, I now serve as Yuto's secretary."
"Oh, Paul's niece. I've heard of you, a magical talent at such a young age," Lucretia said casually. "I suppose you're here about the heretic god. Your initiative is impressive."
Erica glanced at Yuto to gauge his reaction before pressing on. "Miss Zola, may I ask a few questions? I'd like your insight on the heretic gods."
Lucretia smiled, unfazed by Erica's caution. "You and this young man have come to the right place for information on heretic gods."
"Do you know which gods have appeared this time?"
"I have some guesses," Lucretia replied, tapping her chin thoughtfully. "From what I've pieced together, it's likely a war god from mythology. At first, I thought it was Melqart, but it's not that simple."
She continued, "Melqart, also known as Baal, was worshipped by the Canaanites and Phoenicians as a god of storms, lightning, and the sky. Over time, his authority expanded, granting him powers like wisdom, life, war, and even the underworld. Sky gods like him often have many aspects."
"Melqart earned that name as the protector of Tyre, a Phoenician city so fortified that even Alexander the Great took a year to conquer it. The Phoenicians also settled Sardinia, tying Melqart deeply to this island."
Lucretia smiled faintly. "In Greece, he's depicted as a robust man with a club. I saw him in that form just days ago."
"But earlier, you said it wasn't just Melqart," Erica interjected.
"Patience, young one," Lucretia chuckled, unruffled. "Near Sassari, there are stone pillars where I sensed an unusual surge of divine energy. When I investigated, I witnessed two gods clashing; Melqart and another wielding a golden sword."
"Their battle nearly leveled the area, but both ended up wounded. Melqart turned into lightning and fled, while the other god's body split into fragments; animal forms like a boar, a bull, a white horse, and a goat. They scattered too fast for me to track."
She looked at Erica with a knowing glint. "As a Great Knight of the Copper Black Cross, you can probably guess the identity of the god with the golden sword."
Though she spoke to Erica, her eyes stayed on Yuto, who remained calm. In Campione!, Lucretia had once returned the grimoire to Godou after sensing his link to Verethragna, the Persian god of victory. Now, her witch's intuition told her Yuto harbored a similar destiny. She shared all she knew, subtly aligning herself with him.
Yuto gave a faint nod, acknowledging her unspoken offer. Relieved, Lucretia smiled warmly, the tension between them easing.
"I owe you one, Miss Zola," Yuto said.
Her face lit up with delight. With her spiritual sensitivity, she was certain this young man could become the seventh Campione.
"Oh my, a favor from a future godslayer? How exciting," she teased, batting her eyes. "You're so young, perhaps after you slay a god, you'd take me as your assistant?"
Unlike the hesitant Godou, Yuto didn't falter. "If you're willing, I wouldn't mind having a witch with your experience and senses by my side."
He stepped closer, his gaze sweeping over her enticing form. "
Lucretia, expecting to fluster him, found herself thrown off. She'd hoped to see him blush, but instead, he exuded a predator's confidence. His bold stare roamed her curves, making her tremble and pull her legs back under the covers.
"Erica, I need to speak with Miss Zola privately. You may leave."
"Yes, Master," Erica replied, shooting Lucretia a sympathetic look before hurrying out with Arianna.
Soon after, intimate sounds echoed from the room.
…..
The next morning, Yuto woke to find Lucretia still flushed from their night together. She'd only fallen asleep against his chest at dawn.
"Morning," he greeted Erica and Arianna in the living room. Both looked haggard, dark circles under their eyes, blushing at his arrival.
"Last night, Miss Zola was… awfully loud," Arianna whispered to Erica. "Is it really that… intense?"
Too tired to cook, they'd bought pre-made meals from a nearby shop. Yuto joined them for a simple breakfast without complaint.
As he prepared to step outside, a sudden thunderclap shook the sky. The once-clear heavens darkened with thick clouds, lightning flashing within.
"My authority is reacting," Yuto murmured, moving to the window.
In the churning storm, two figures battled; a towering muscular man and a youth wielding a golden sword. With his sharp eyes, Yuto identified them: Melqart and Verethragna, locked in combat once more.
