An hour ago, Cecilia was about to discreetly ring the doorbell at the Lawrence family’s residence. However, Emma suddenly recalled she hadn’t prepared a gift for Steven, so the two hurried off to buy a gift.
Emma had been so excited these past few days that she forgot about it. When Cecilia asked her what gift she had for Steven, she realized she hadn't gotten anything yet.
Ordering online would be too late now, so they had to drive to a nearby mall.
But after a long search, Emma couldn't find anything satisfactory, and they eventually returned empty-handed.
