Kael's head was all fuzzy as he heard Leonhardt's voice, but he still knew what he wanted. If it were about actions, he wouldn't really have a say, his body would just react instinctively to whatever Leonhardt wanted to do. But when it came to answering questions, he still had a shred of clarity. After a long pause, he finally shook his head.
"Take me to Veyron," he said at last.
Leonhardt's head snapped toward him, his eyes narrowing with annoyance.
"What do you mean? What do you want to do with Veyron?" he asked, his voice low and tense, his body practically vibrating with agitation.
"He…" Kaelith began, but the words never left his lips. Instead, he gasped sharply—Leonhardt had entered him.
