Validia's body began to tremble. But not like when she was carrying a heavy load, or blocking a monster's attack.
This was… softer.
Deeper.
Terrifying.
"Na–Nathan… why…" she whispered weakly,
her cheeks glowing like steel plates heated by twin suns.
Nathan's fingers were still moving—
inside her, circling, caressing places never touched with love before.
Validia said nothing.
Her body twitched gently,
like dry earth cracking from the sudden birth of a spring in the middle of a desert.
"Aaahh…" she moaned softly.
Her eyes blinked rapidly,
her body threatening to spiral out of control.
"Why does it feel weird…? Why is it so warm…?"
Nathan leaned closer and whispered in her ear,
"Relax, Validia… You just need to stay still.
Don't be afraid,
I just want to love you…"
Validia bit her lower lip.
In her mind, old voices resurfaced—
echoes of a life lived in loneliness,
a body too large to express affection with something as simple as a hug.
