Ural has been infested with greed. A sudden wave of rudeness, hostility, and imbalance has hit the streets. The cause is unknown to local authorities and civilians alike.
Deep within Ural's Southern outskirts, a young prize female prize collector embarks on a journey. Deska has dark brown wavy hair, light green eyes, a yellowish skin hue, curvy thighs, and an hourglass body.
She wears dark grey robes with yellow-green markings and light brown shoes. Deska swoops down on a rope into an underground structure. The sun beams down on her as he makes it to the bottom of the area. The woman steps gently across the ground as she is careful to not trigger any of the local bobby traps.
Deska tosses a pebble and intentionally triggers a defense mechanism. A barrage of darts pelts a wall. Deska then hovers in front of a safe which she forces open with a dynamic lock opener. Deska grabs Hijuro's cup, a legendary object worth thousands of silver shekels and she places it inside of her wool pouch.
Deska pulls herself up through the building onto the sandy outskirts of Ural. Deska mounts a zebra-jackal before riding off. Rosh's team meets with the Earth Kingdom detective Lukeno in his office.
Lukeno lays down a stack of papers on a cabinet, "I found two leads. Both of them have been working with this thief, a young woman named Deska. Some local sages say she's been taking lots of spiritually significant objects and throwing the town's aura off."
Rosh bites into a green apple as he listens, "No kiddin."
The detective adds, "She has two friends, Itavin and Ukaro; both are earthbending twins. They are key info brokers for her. If you get to them, you should know exactly what her next move will be."
Holku: "Rest assured, we'll take care of them." Lika nods. The following day, a tour occurs at at the Grand Heights Museum which is located in Ural's Grand Heights district. Large light brown marble walls and a feint grey marble floor cover the area.
Several precious historical relics decorate the area. A middle aged light brown skin, light green eyed, and curly haired woman conducts the tour. Several preteen aged children follow along. Each child seems to be about eleven or twelve years old.
Tour guide: "Here is the golden chair, an object of immense significance. A municipal king once sat in it during an era when the Earth Kingdom was divided into multiple nations and was just starting to unite. As a sign of gratitude, King Nevan gave his chair up."
Deska flips through a window and sneaks into a room. Deska pushes two large dark green doors with bronze hinges aside. They were meant to be locked, but the woman put guchini oil on the door. This oil can be used to push open almost any object.
Deska notices exactly what she was looking for, The Bracelet ofFaith. Deska takes it without hesitation before creeping away.
Tour guide: "And now is our museum's most prized possession." The guide signals for two workers to open the doors and they are surprised that they do not need to use their keys. The woman looks and notices the object is missing.
Tour guide: "What?! Notify security!!" The kids gasp.
A disappointed student jokes, "You people need to step your game up."
The Terrible Two
The brothers Itavin and Ukaro laugh. Itavin has brown skin, dark brown spiky hair, brown eyes, a short build, and a thin frame. Ukrao is also small in stature with black coarse hair, a large nose, dark green eyes, freckles, brown skin, and thin lips.
Itavin: "That prize went up for practically nothing."
Ukaro: "The fools, that was worth at least eight times that amount."
Itavin: "Let's not forget when Idenko overpaid for that one object."
Ukaro: "That Water Tribe dealer was clueless."
Rosh confronts them, "Hey, I'm looking for someone named Deska. I heard you gentlemen might be of help." The brothers enter their battle stance.
Itavin: "Who's asking?"
Rosh: "Do I even need to say?"
Ukaro comments, "You'll pay for this firebender." Ukrao lifts his left leg before swiping a brick at Rosh. Rosh flips over it and swoops down a flash of fire at his opponent with a double downward leg swing. The earthbender performs a right cartwheel as flames splash beside him, causing hot sand to pop off the ground.
Itavin pounces behind Rosh before he punches an earth ball at Rosh from his left hand. Rosh twirls right and rapidly kicks a flame sphere at his enemy. Itavin breaths a spout of mud into the sphere and it explodes.
Rosh and Ukaro briefly watch to see what remains of Itavin but see nothing. An enraged Ukaro double punches a tirade of stone pelts at Rosh. Rosh swashes his hands left to right as he burns the objects with massive fire tentacles before allowing them to fall apart.
Ukaro dips low under a red-orange fireball Rosh swats at him before latching two earth chains on Rosh's ankles. Ukaro pulls down and sweeps the fire national toward him. Rosh sets fire from his legs and bursts free before flipping back to his feet.
Ukaro hurls and kicks multiple small debris at Rosh but the firebender mounts a defense and knocks flames into every one of them. A moment later, the firebender reaches out with passion and pushes a fountain of red and orange fire through his hands.
Rosh's veins are pumped as they release a sizeable discharge of energy. The blast overtakes Ukrao and immediately puts his body into shock. The earthbender passes out and Itavin reemerges as he jumps behind Rosh while swatting a chain blade at him.
Rosh pivots back then dips under the blade and hops up grabbing it with a rotating reach from his left hand. Rosh yanks the man toward him and kicks a volatile fireball into Itavin's gut. The brother falls nine feet back before he collapses hard in the sand. Both brothers wake up with Rosh standing across them.
Rosh: "So, are you gentlemen ready to share the info I need?"
Ukaro: "Do what you will but you will not hear a peep out of us."
Rosh looks at Itavin, "How about you?"
Itavin: "You heard what he said, I don't think any different ashmaker."
Rosh: "No need to get all like that. I'm trying to protect this town. It was the Earth Kingdom that encouraged me to do this."
Itavin: "I don't care what the powers that be think of this."
Rosh: "Fair enough, but you do care about your brother."
Itavin: "Of course."
Rosh: "So you hate to see this." Rosh shoots a beam of flames into Ukaro. Ukaro shouts in anguish. Rosh is cautious not to kill him and to use just enough force to ensure his discomfort.
Ukaro: "Itavin do not tell him anything." Rosh pushes his own stream of flames from his left hand into Ukaro. Ukaro likewise screams. Rosh waits and gives both of them a moment to consider their situation.
Rosh bluffs, "So what now? I will kill you both if you don't give me the information I need. Is your friend really worth it."
Ukaro yells, "You wouldn't." Rosh zaps both of them again.
Rosh: "Or perhaps I will push you both to the brink of death but either way, you both will be forced to watch until whatever happens." Rosh burns the brothers a third time, they squirm around for several seconds as their bodies are overtaken by involuntary convulsions.
Blisters immediately begin to form, and a foul smell discharges from their skin. Rosh burns them yet again, Ukaro begins crying from the pain, but his tears are dried in the process. Rosh: "Nothing, very well." Rosh charges his hands up for another round of torture.
Ivatin breaks, "Fine, fine!! She is going to Sherai's Shrine. You will find here there, where she will discover her ring."
Ukaro adds, "She is already on her way. By the time you get there she will already have it, and she will be too powerful for you to compete with."
Rosh shivers at the idea. Sherai was a great and feared warrior from Ural. One that alleged had magic strong enough to put the entire Earth Kingdom in check. Rosh: "Sherai's Ring is no joke. She has no idea how to use it."
Itavin: "That's what you think. She's studied it."
Rosh: "I don't care how much Deska thinks she has studied this, an object like that cannot just be learned. Especially not by a thief. It is something a magic practitioner would need to know. She is making a big mistake, anyone would be. That object is accursed and will undoubtedly DESTROY her."
Ukaro: "Her will is strong enough to survive it."
Rosh: "Perhaps enough to not die instantly, but that is not all I'm talking about. That ring will corrupt her very being to the point you will not recognize her. You better hope I get to her."
Itavin: "Don't lecture us firebender."
Rosh sighs, "Oh brother. Here we go." Rosh meets with Holku and Lika. Rosh pats Lika on her shoulder, "Feeling sturdy now?"
Lika responds, "Never better."
Rosh: "Deska's after Sherai's Ring."
Lika: "She's insane."
Rosh: "A true thief always goes after the biggest prize."
Holku: "Well, since it's just here, I can't imagine this will be too hard of a mission. Especially not after you dealt with her allies."
Rosh: "Maybe, but I've got the feeling there is more to this mission. Maybe she will bring backup for something as important as this. Either way, be razor sharp. We will head out right away."
Lika: "Let's do it Rosh!"
Rosh high fives Lika. Holku raises his hand for a high-five, yet Rosh pulls it back, "Sike."
Holku: "You suck."
Rosh: "Ok for real this time." Rosh tries to high-five Holku but he pulls his hand back. Rosh responds, "Real mature."
