"Rebuke me… What, is this training ground property of your family?"

Tsunade narrowed her eyes. The sheer pressure from her presence sent a dangerous aura rippling through the air, forcing the Shimura clan's guards to instinctively retreat several steps, abandoning their so-called young master.

Tsunade Hime.

A name etched into the chronicles of the Second Shinobi World War.

A living legend who once battled the likes of Hanzo the Salamander and, alongside Jiraiya and Orochimaru, earned the revered title of Sannin!

Right now, she radiated the same fearsome aura she had wielded on the battlefield—majestic, terrifying, unmistakable. No experienced shinobi would mistake it.

"N-No, of course it doesn't belong to me…"

"But this is a public training ground! It's for all shinobi to use! Shouldn't you at least show some manners?!"

The arrogant young master of the Shimura clan—who had earlier used force to clear out others from Training Ground No. 1—attempted to assert his "authority."

Manners?

Hearing that word from his mouth, Tsunade actually chuckled.

It was laughter laced with fury.

"Oh? Alright then. I'll show you some manners."

Tsunade ignored him completely and walked straight toward the center of the training ground, where the main target stood.

"Mind if I use this target?"

"…Uh?" The Shimura youth froze, not understanding what she meant. Yet, as Tsunade approached, his guards instinctively stepped even farther back.

Staring at her warily, he gave a stiff nod. "S-sure…"

Tsunade smiled and rolled her shoulders.

"It's been a long time since I've come to one of these training grounds…"

She called out behind her, "Tenten, move back."

Tenten, standing a good ten meters away, blinked in confusion. "Eh? Isn't this already pretty far?"

Still, she obeyed and backed off further.

"Not enough. Go farther."

Seeing Tsunade's serious expression, Tenten didn't question it. She quickly dashed to the edge of the training ground.

The Shimura guards, more alert than their young master, had already backed away much earlier.

Even the young master himself, despite being dazed, realized something wasn't right and began stepping back.

But before he could get far—

"Watch closely, Tenten! This is the first technique I'll be teaching you!"

"What?!"

A colossal amount of chakra surged into Tsunade's right arm.

Her fist clenched—

BOOM!!

The moment Tsunade's punch connected with the training dummy, it obliterated on impact!

And the shockwave didn't end there—her punch blasted into the earth below, releasing a deep rumble across the entire training field.

RUMBLE—

Tenten's eyes widened as the ground trembled beneath her feet.

CRACK—

Ka-ka-ka-ka—

Fissures spiderwebbed across Training Ground No. 1, tearing through the soil like a natural disaster.

---

Tenten's eyes sparkled with awe.

She stared at Tsunade-sensei, heart pounding with admiration.

That one punch…

It had shattered the entire training field.

This was Tsunade Hime—the proud granddaughter of the First Hokage, Hashirama Senju. The mightiest kunoichi of the Leaf, one of the Sannin. The warrior-princess Konoha revered.

And now, that person…

Was her teacher!

"Alright, today's lesson ends here."

"Tenten, we're going home."

Standing at the heart of the broken web of cracked earth, Tsunade grunted in annoyance and called out to her disciple before turning without another glance toward the ruined field.

"Yes, Tsunade-sensei!" Tenten shouted, stars in her eyes.

With that, she happily trailed behind Tsunade like an excited puppy.

At Training Ground No. 1—

Buried in a shallow crater, the formerly arrogant Shimura youth whimpered in humiliation.

"Help… Help me!"

His robe was torn, and his face was smeared with dust.

A moment later, the Shimura clan's belatedly brave guards arrived.

"Y-Young Master, are you alright?! We're coming!"

---

At Tian Yu's House—

Inside the living room, Tsunade sat cross-legged on the tatami mat, her brows slightly furrowed and her expression dark.

"Hmph!"

"That Shimura brat had the gall to monopolize a public training field?"

"After all these years… Konoha has really changed."

She wasn't just angry—she was disappointed.

Although Tsunade had been away from the village for more than a decade, Konoha remained the legacy of her grandfather, Hashirama Senju. It was the place her roots were deeply entwined.

To witness such rot…

It left a bitter taste.

As the old saying goes—"Why sorrow? Only Du Kang can cure it."

With that thought, Tsunade picked up the sake cup and downed it in one gulp.

Gulp, gulp~

Just as she set it down, a small bubbling sound came from the side.

Tenten knelt beside her, diligently pouring more ginseng wine into her cup.

Tsunade raised an eyebrow. "Why are you still hanging around me? Shouldn't you be out training?"

Tenten giggled. "I'm your student! Taking care of the teacher is a student's duty!"

Seeing Tsunade like this—more like a drunk gambler than a shinobi—Tenten's mental image of her shattered a little…

But then she remembered Tsunade's earth-splitting punch earlier.

That was the Tsunade she admired. The great Sannin. The mightiest kunoichi.

"Didn't you say you were going to teach me that move, sensei?"

Tenten beamed.

Big Brother Tian Yu asked Tsunade-sensei to accept her as a disciple—what a great decision!

Tsunade scoffed. "I don't need some brat taking care of me. I've got business to handle soon, so go train on your own!"

Tenten paused.

"…You're not heading to the casino again, are you?"

"Don't be ridiculous."

Tsunade flicked Tenten's forehead gently.

"This is real business."

"Someone's taking me to see Old Man Sarutobi."

No sooner had she said that than a shadowy figure appeared.

"Lady Tsunade, the Hokage awaits your presence."

Tenten blinked in surprise.

The Hokage?

Was Tsunade-sensei really that important?

No—she was the legendary Sannin, after all!

Tsunade nodded. "I'll be there shortly. You go ahead."

The Anbu paused.

"But… Lady Tsunade…"

"What? Are you going to drag me there by force?"

She released a ripple of chakra, the sheer pressure making the air thrum.

"N-No, I wouldn't dare!"

"Then scram."

"Yes!"

The masked Anbu disappeared like a shadow into the night.

Tsunade then downed her sake cup in one go.

She knew the Hokage would summon her. After all, destroying an entire public training ground wasn't exactly a minor incident.

She hadn't gone with the Anbu right away not out of stubbornness…

But because she wanted to make a statement.

Let the whole village remember:

Tsunade Hime has returned to Konoha.
