"I'm still shocked, Noah. Is this... Going to be fine?" Michael asked and Noah sighed, pressing his lips on Michael's forehead.
"Even if it doesn't look fine. I'll make it fine." He said. "I'll solve my problems too so you don't have to be scared anymore. I'll make it so you don't have to be alone, Michael. I..."
"Okay, stop. I understand what you're trying to say." Michael said after interrupting him. "And I believe you'll do your best so don't worry. I'll wait, even if waiting might be painful." He said, solemnly but then smiled brightly as he added, "Did I ever tell you waiting was my strong suit?"
But Noah did not respond to him and simply pulled him into his arms, embracing him tightly.
Whether it was his strong suit or not, it didn't change the fact that waiting was a painful thing to do, and having expectations was even worse.
