Chapter 68 - THE EMPIRE STANDS TOGETHER

The underground base was filled with an unusual energy. For three years, this place had been their battlefield, their home, their transformation ground. But today, they were stepping out, not as lost warriors or forgotten ghosts, but as the architects of a new world.

The main chamber was full. Soldiers, scientists, intelligence experts—every person who had played a role in Mirshad's awakening stood there, waiting. Some thought this was the moment they parted ways. They had done their duty, played their role, and now they could return to their lives.

Mirshad stood in the center, looking at every single one of them. His presence alone was enough to silence a room. There was something different about him now, something beyond power.

"I know what you're all thinking," he said, his voice steady but firm. "That this is where we say our goodbyes. That we move on from here, carrying only memories of what we built. But that's not how I see it."

The room stayed silent, waiting.

"I don't just let go of power," Mirshad continued. "And I don't let go of people who stood by me when the world thought I was nothing."

Some exchanged glances, surprised by his words.

"I don't see soldiers, scientists, or intelligence officers here. I see family. And family doesn't walk away from each other."

Faisal, standing near the front, nodded approvingly. Rayyan, arms crossed, gave a small smirk. Malik and Amir whispered something to each other, clearly about to start trouble.

Amir chuckled. "Bro, I think love has officially infected him."

Malik grinned. "Yeah, I always thought nothing could break him. But here we are, watching the great Mirshad turn soft."

Mirshad's sharp gaze landed on them. "I heard that."

Amir and Malik straightened up immediately, laughing. "Sorry, Boss."

Mirshad pulled out eight golden cards, the weight of their importance clear in his hands.

"These are not just cards. These are keys. They control power, wealth, security. With these, we don't just own companies, we own the very foundation of the world."

He stepped forward, handing the first card to Faisal. "The man who guided me through the dark. Without you, none of this would have been possible."

He gave another to Rayyan. "The man who builds warriors. The leader of our army, the one who will make sure our enemies never breathe easy again."

Then to Jabir. "The future. You've lost much, but your strength will build something even greater."

To Malik. "The mind behind the machines. The one who sees what others can't."

To Amir. "The wild genius. The one who makes the impossible possible."

To Sara. "The shield that guards our empire's wealth. The one who makes sure no one can ever touch what we own."

And finally, he turned to Sophia. He held the card in his hand for a moment longer. Their eyes met, and something unspoken passed between them.

"You held my hand when the universe itself trembled," he said. "When the storm inside me threatened to consume everything, you calmed it. If anyone deserves this, it's you."

Sophia looked down for a moment, then back up at him, taking the card. There was nothing more to say.

A scientist hesitated before stepping forward. "But… we are just researchers. Our job is done. We never expected to be part of something like this."

Mirshad turned to them, his expression serious. "Your job isn't done. The world isn't safe for you, not after what we built together. You are some of the most brilliant minds on this planet. You stay with us, under our protection, as part of this empire. As family."

There was a long pause before one of the scientists nodded, then another, and another. One by one, they accepted his offer.

Faisal placed a hand on Mirshad's shoulder. "Son, you didn't just build power. You built loyalty. That's something no money can buy."

The tension in the room finally broke. Someone clapped, then another, and soon, the entire room erupted in applause.

The moment of seriousness faded, and the usual chaos of their team took over.

Amir held up his golden card, grinning. "So… unlimited money, huh? No spending limits?"

Malik smirked. "Bro, don't ask stupid questions. Let's buy a spaceship."

Jabir shook his head. "Forget the spaceship, I'm getting an island."

Rayyan leaned back. "I want a medieval castle. A whole kingdom with my own army."

Faisal sighed. "I should've left you all underground."

Sophia laughed softly. "I just want a quiet place to relax. Far away from all of you."

Mirshad crossed his arms, shaking his head. "No one is buying a spaceship, a castle, or an army. We're taking over the world the smart way."

Amir stretched. "Fine. I'll just get a hundred Bugattis. Normal stuff."

Malik nodded. "Yeah, I'll just casually buy Dubai."

Mirshad closed his eyes for a second. "I regret giving you all money already."

The final moment arrived. The massive underground doors, sealed for three years, began to slide open. The first rays of sunlight streamed in, washing over them like a silent promise of what was to come.

Mirshad stepped forward, looking out at the world waiting for them. Then, he turned back to his team, his family.

"Let's go remind the world who we are."

And with that, they stepped forward into history.
