The rest of orientation was full of random speeches by different teachers. It seemed like it was directed mostly at the second- and third-year students, trying to get them to pick their homeroom classes for the semester.
Headmistress Dorothy finally took over again and spoke.
"With all that out of the way, orientation has come to a close. Before you leave to get settled in, let me reiterate a few points. We do not condone bullying of any type here. I don't care if you're the daughter of a noble or a commoner, there will be no discrimination tolerated at our academy! Political, racial and religious differences are to be left outside this academy. Do not harass your fellow male students, you cannot force them into giving a spot on their quota. And lastly…"
Headmistress Dorothy looked around the room to make sure everyone was listening, and her face broke into a smile.
"Those who were late today will be on janitorial duty for a month."
