Zane's POV~
The next of the morning was completely chaotic after the vacation news.
I couldn't even eat properly. Every bite tasted as if all the flavor in the world had vanished.
The Alphas, of course, were already busy packing their things for the beach. Delivery workers kept flooding the mansion from different companies, all thanks to Cassian, who had apparently lost his mind and ordered enough supplies to furnish a second home. At this rate, it felt like he planned to move to the beach permanently.
But I had more pressing matters on my mind. The moment Doctor Simon arrived at the mansion, i led him straight to my room.
Just me and Doctor Simon since the Alpha's have agreed to give us privacy and of course they're also busy.
As always, Doctor Simon wore that same cold, unreadable expression. His attention never wavered as he focused on checking my pulse, not even sparing me a single glance. His professionalism was suffocating.
