Zane's POV~
It was finally late at night, and the servants had finished helping me pack the luggage I'd need for the beach. Meanwhile, I had soaked myself in the bathtub, pouring in an entire bottle of scent blockers perfume, until I felt like I'd been drowned in it. Afterward, I slathered my body with the cream Simon had left behind for me.
Yeah. This was my life now.
When I finally settled into the back seat of the car, I took the window side. Alfie and Silas sat beside me, both of them glued to their phones. I had already made a quick phone call to Simon earlier before leaving my room, instructing him not to tell any of the Alphas how many days I had left before my heat and I was relieved when Simon agreed.
But then can I really trust that robot who only does what the Alpha's tell him to do? But then I could only hope he would keep his word.
