That bastard Knox.
He actually had the audacity to plan with Fathee to summon all of us back to the mansion, only to sneak back to the vacation house like some damn thief just to have Zane all to himself. To claim him while I and my brothers were away.
The moment Father made that call, something in my gut screamed wrong. Sure, Father gives Knox estates and lands as a form of compensation whenever we fight...some peace offering but he never favours Knox. Not willingly.
So why now?
It clicked. That manipulative bastard actually told father that I and the others weren't interested in mating with Zane. That we were wasting time. And knowing Father...the moment he hears one of us is willing to be the first to produce an heir...he'd grant any damn request.
Of course, he gave Knox the green light.
To claim Zane first. To put a child in him. To seal the bond.
My blood ran cold at the thought.
