Scarlet's footsteps echoed as she walked into the Adventurer Guild building. The adventurers greeted her as she passed by, but they didn't receive any response.
It was something they were used to and only did out of respect.
"What's happening there?" Her eyes glinted as she noticed a crowd gathering at the gallery stands.
"Oh, right. Just like you requested, I set up the offer. Currently, our guild officials are testing the strength of the recruit," Lilly, beside her, responded in her professional tone.
A look of intrigue shone in Scarlet's eyes. "Come, let's go check it out," she said and started walking toward the gallery.
"Brunt is really testing that rookie? Isn't this overkill?"
"Yeah, you're right. That rookie is cooked. I wonder what he did to get Brunt to test him personally."
Usually, this practical test was conducted by a guild member whose strength was closer to the recruit's level to make it fair.
