The sword was about to stab into Riven's chest. She cracked a smile, seeing her sword shoot to hit the target, but suddenly Riven's lips curled up into a smile. He immediately kicked back, moving at a speed that was almost twice hers.
He parried her sword while moving back, completely stopping the attack. Mia's eyes widened when she saw this. She had already committed all to that attack, and he managed to get through it easily.
She planted her feet into the ground, stopping her motion, but before she could make a retreat, Riven had already charged in.
'You might have years of sword training with you, but unlike you, I have sword mastery.'
He slashed with his full strength, and she tried to block. Because she was already retreating in her steps, she tripped and fell immediately as the sword landed on hers.
