Riven took the entire day to rest up. Though the wound had been healed, his body was still fatigued. Noel had left a few hours ago, so now he lay on the bed alone.
The sound of the door opening reached his ears, but he didn't pay attention to it until footsteps started getting close to him. He wondered who it could be.
His answer came soon after — it was Robert, Mia, Jack, and Chloe. He was shocked to see the four, but he tried to hide his surprise.
"Hmm, seems you're still alive," Robert said. He folded his arms while he spoke.
"You came to see if the competition had died?" Jake asked.
"No. If you had died from something like that, it would have been an utter disgrace," Robert said.
"I guess you still have to try and get first place after all," Jake said.
"First place? I'm not really after that. The person destined to get it is Lance. All I want is to understand you, really," Robert said.
"Brother, that's enough. He is trying to rest," Chloe said.
