When Daniel asked his question, Tiana fell silent. She honestly didn't know what to do.
She didn't want to go back home. As much as possible, she wanted to stay away from her parents—but was that even possible?

Alice sighed when she saw her friend's silence. She really wanted to offer that Tiana could stay with them for now, but she wasn't sure if Daniel and their mom would agree.
"How about staying at our place for a while?" Daniel suddenly said, drawing both girls' eyes to him.
"Really?" Alice and Tiana said at the same time.
Daniel laughed and nodded. He knew his sister—if he didn't find a way to help Tiana, she'd definitely do something crazy.
That's why it was better to keep both girls close for now. That way, he didn't have to worry about either of them.
"But wouldn't that be a problem? I mean, I don't want to be a burden," Tiana said hesitantly.
