Elena didn't even know how to react as she stepped out of the bathtub. Her body trembled both from fear and cold and her eyes brimmed with tears that she struggled not to let fall…it was hard though as her heart was aching so bad. Did she almost just die? Did Xavier really try to drown her in the bathroom? Heck, she saw her life flash before her eyes and had almost given up to fate before he finally let go of her.
Elena whimpered as she took off her soaked robe and wore another one, her body still shuddering as her emotions kept shifting from hurt, pain, betrayal, and then back to hurt. Her body was now pale and her lips now looked blue as water dripped from her hair to her body. She was even afraid of going out of the bathroom, fearing that Xavier might be outside waiting for her and dreading what he had in store for her next.
