Chapter 10: Job-Change Quest!

After I got sucked by Black Hole I appeared in..
What is this, a colosseum ?
"This is a colosseum?" I asked out loud, I'm in what appears to be Gladiator's Pit, surrounding by four gates, large enough that even elephants can pass through.
"Pit is at least 20 meters in all directions wide.."

I immediately summoned [Great-Sword of Goblin King] in my right hand,, and prepared myself for inevitable battle of attrition.
I took stance.
At that exact moment, a gate, north gate precisely opened up.
And figure leaped from it, dashing at me with speed comparable to Werewolves.
The figure is a man?
With pale skin, but lean body. Wearing leather armor that's covering his upper. And his lower body is only wearing leather sandals, but most noticeable clothing would be battle skirt he is wearing, a pteruges indeed.
And he is also wearing helmet, covering his head like a bucket with two holes.
Figure's name was.

Name is white, meaning weaker than me.
The moment unknown assailant come closer to be, I cleaved his body in half, horizontally.
But weirdly enough, his body disappeared, not leaving a trace, as if nothing was there to begin with. Not even a drop of blood.

North Gate opened once again, not giving me even a second to process what happened. But this time, instead one Gladiator, two Gladiator's leaped out.
They both had same armor, completely same set as previous one, but their only differences would be scars and skin colors.
They both leaped at me with same speed as previous one.
I easily dispatched both of them once more, this time cutting one horizontally and chopping a head of other.
"So this is like a game? They are not real.."
I once again obtained [Steel-Swords] from them.

I took another stance, ready.
Next time, 5 of them exited from the North Gate.
Same armor, same weapon but just different people.
Once again, I cleared them all.
"They are for now just low C-Rank level for Magic Beast."

Once again, two more entered. But these two are different from others previous Gladiators who entered.
They are still in C-Rank, but they are slightly better. Slightly faster and stronger.
"I'd Say MId C-Rank."
But beside their Aura, they are wearing completely different set of armor.
Previous one's wore leather armor and battle skirt with [Steel-Sword] as their weapon.
But these two wore same armor, but with a cape. And instead of [Steel-Sword] they are wielding spear and [Steel-Sword] as spare weapons strapped on their hips,
They both sprinted at me. Since they are using spears, it would be annoying to use Great-Sword in that fight.
I took out my two [Sword of the Goblin King] and parried their attacks easily before swinging at them one last time.
Still no difference.
"I can't level up from normal C-Rank monster anymore. Only C-Rank Bosses, B-Rank monsters and further would be okay, everything else is just a waste of time. But that [Monster's lair] is my only safe bet at pushing my levels right now." I muttered to myself, glancing at count.

Soon another five Gladiators entered, next batch was same as the previous one. Same concept, same strength, same weapon. Just three more.

"But at least they are stronger than Werewolves, might as well be able to level up once before I fight 'Boss'. "

Same as previous ones once again. Five of them once more.

I suddenly gripped my swords tightly. New one entered, this one is obviously stronger than previous ones.
"I'd say High C-Rank."
But he almost doesn't have armor at all. He has bulky body, no clothing at all on his upper body, revealing his fitting muscles and flexing with his abs.
" I have abs too.."
He is only wearing leather sandals, battle skirt and leather gloves. Helmet is same as every previous one till now. A bucket with two holes for eyes.
And weapon of choice are two [Short-Swords].
This one was stronger than previous ones, I had to actually try and block his attacks with utmost precision otherwise I could have been seriously injured.
But alas, even if he was High C-Rank, I was still way above his league.

I'm tired, I want to rest...
But those guys aren't allowing me!
I'm fighting against four Low B-Ranks now. They seem to be Assassin-Type, their footsteps are quiet, they are fast, but their strength is weak.
No matter, I'll have to switch to [Kasaka's Venom Fang] if I want to clear this further, even though that dagger is too big of a cheat. But if I want to complete this soundly and safely, I have no choice.
I immediately send my left [Sword of the Goblin King] back into {Inventory} before taking out [Kasaka's Venom Fang] from it, and effortlessly stabbing an Assassin who was just behind me in a moment, activating Paralyze on him before I stabbed him twice more, thus getting notification his death.
I narrowly dodged a swing of a [Steel-Dagger] from the left before jumping away, but unknown to me, a guy appeared beside, just when his dagger was about to touch me, my instincts screamed at me to duck.
I stabbed that guy with my sword and once more with my dagger, finishing him off completely.
"Three more to go!"
I grinned before leaping at them, one good thing about these Assassin's would be that they have leather armor, thus easy for my [Kasaka's Venom Fang] to penetrate them.
In following minute or so, all three of them were dead.

I slumped down on stone pillars near, good riddance to sun!

My eyes nearly popped up at absurd increase in strength. Yes I was fucking stupid, with this shit my status would have increased way much! And I could have had even more easier time!
Without further ado, I immediately equipped Gladiator armor pieces I got, and turned them invincible, well the reason is because I don't like them at all. Once I get better and cooler armor I will flaunt with it 24/7.
Same with [Cerberus' Collar] It's powerful Item but it's ugly, I'm not letting anyone see me with it...
But weirdly enough, even after killing all those Gladiators, my level didn't rise up..
But window answered my un-asked question.

I took a bottle of cold coke from my {Inventory}. A good thing about {Inventory} is that once you put something into it, you will pull out it in exact same shape and form, thus food won't rot, and if you put cold drink into it, you will obviously pull out the same cold drink, with exact coldness.
I checked my stats.

I stood up from my sitting position.
I had brought several Mythical Restoration Potions. One bottle costs 10k gold, but it restores 30 Fatigue. And since I earned a little bit too much Gold I brought several, I don't think I would have luxury to rest once again like this.
And this time, ten Assassin-Type Gladiators entered arena from south Gate, each one radiating an Aura of Low B-Rank. But now, i'm stronger than before and fully rested.
"This time I will use [Kasaka's Venom Fang], You will all fall before it hits 60 seconds."
I activated [Active Skill: Dash LVL-1] followed by [Active Skill: Bloodlust LVL-1].
This depleted their stats by 50%, allowing me to reach them in no time. Now their stats even weaker than before, and now [Kasaka's Venom Fang] is even better. One stab is all I need to paralyze them, then followed by another stab into neck and it's game over for them.
Their stats lesser than 50% so it was even easier catching them.
And soon.

"It was so easy, no wonder this was cheat code for dungeon below B-Rank. " I commented as I twirled my favorite dagger. I'm never selling this shit, it's design is too cool.
I glanced at incoming enemies.

Five Low A-Rank Gladiator Swordsmen vs me. .
They are just slightly weaker than me, just slightly.
"So I'm Low A-Rank right now. Good to know." I muttered to myself as I narrowly dodged a combined attack from both Gladiators, just missing my hair by centimeter.
The only advantage I have over them would be slightly stronger stats and [Kasaka's Venom Fang].
How to defeat them..
Thinking too much in middle of the battle was a mistake.
One of them sneaked behind me before piercing my stomach from behind.
A pain I never felt like before pierced my body as warm blood poured from my hear.

Another one pierced my shoulder.

Third one slashed at my chest, leaving out a big cut.

So close to finish this damn quest..
Just to kill these five gladiators who are almost as strong as me.. And I will have best class I can get..
But so why?
Is it because I'm weak?
Life flashed through my eyes.
My moments till now, my desires. My goals, my future goals.
I clenched [Kasaka's Venom Fang] tighter in my right hand.
I refuse to accept that!
"I refuses!" I shrugged them all off from me, ignoring alarming pain spreading from my left shoulder and from my stomach. "I refuse to accept this destiny! " I roared one last time before leaping at the first gladiator in front of me, before stabbing him in the head with my dagger. Killing him in an instant.
But that instant was enough for a mother fucker to stab me in the back!

"Rarg!" I growled before pushing myself back into the motherfucker! Thus pushing blade into myself further, but that imbalance my jump caused was enough to inflict a mortal wound on man behind me. Thus cutting his neck cleanly before his body fell on the ground motionless.
I barely had enough time to pull out the sword stabbed into my back before remaining three gladiators closed on me.
I just managed to side step before my earlier position is littered with three blades, using this chance I threw my dagger at closest gladiator, he barely managed to block my dagger, but by the time he blocked it, I was already in front of him with my [Great-Sword of Goblin King] cutting his body horizontally without any difficulty.

But I was slashed behind by two other remaining ones. I summon my dagger back into my {Inventory} before back into my hand.

Using the momentum of blocking their attacks with my Great-Sword while using venom from my dagger to stab at them. Once they are stabbed, it's game over.
