Leonard came into the room just as I put the third child in the crib. It was five days since I gave birth, and we were still at the hospital, following Dr Albert's advice to stay a little longer in the hospital. Margaret had come to the hospital to help out even though I had several nurses assigned privately to me. I needed all the help I could get with these three lovely giants.
All done! I said to myself, moving back to steal a long glance at all three of them as they slept peacefully in the crib. Now as they slept, they seemed incapable of causing noise whereas each of them could singlehandedly keep Margaret, the nurses and I on our toes just by yelling. It is amazing how babies this small could make so much noise.
