Once Leonard left the room, I placed all three children in the crib, and angrily tidied up the room, Leonard's room. It was bad enough that he had left for God-knows-where, leaving me alone with the kids without help from anyone, and he had to yell at me on his return. I sure wasn't going to take it any lightly with him.
The children stayed put in the crib as if they could tell that I was angry, and did not as little as frown their faces when after I finished tidying up, I rolled them out of the room.
Leonard was nowhere around, it was not like I cared though. I left for the room directly opposite Leonard's,the same room I had occupied for over one year, the only room in the entire mansion that felt like mine.
We settled in easily. The room was in perfect condition, all thanks to Leonard's staff who ensured that the room was cleaned out on a daily basis.
