Philip tried hard to control himself. His energy form became solid again. The strong sadness that had briefly taken him over went away. A quiet and serious determination replaced it.
"But," he said his voice a bit stronger now "in these past hundred years I have been alone and hiding I have learned many things. I have learned how to choose a human host. I have learned how to gently guide them. And I have learned many new things about this Lower Dimension this human world. By living among humans watching their ways I too have become stronger in my own way."
A small spark of hope a faint but steady light appeared in his dark obsidian eyes. "I have faith," he continued his voice soft but sure "that when our Prince finally arrives I will be of some use to him. I will be able to help him. And I believe… I must believe… that our Prince will help me. He will help me rescue Maya from those terrible beings who took her from me."
