Chapter 93: The Future is Not for Weaklings!

"Uchiha Kei! I will make sure you die!"

Inside Uchiha Kei's secret training room, the dimly lit chamber did not cause him any discomfort. In fact, he almost enjoyed the atmosphere.

The only thing that bothered him was Uchiha Yuu, who was glaring at him with a pair of Sharingan.

In this dark space, those crimson eyes seemed particularly eerie, almost suffocating in their malevolent gaze, like a vengeful ghost.

After noticing that the Uchiha clan had reacted so quickly, Uchiha Kei couldn't help but appreciate their speed. However, he had no choice but to resort to a method he didn't want to use.

If his plan was to succeed, and if he were to stay in Konohagakure, Uchiha Kei had no choice but to remain hidden.

Thinking this, Uchiha Kei decisively activated his Mangekyō Sharingan. The "Chrono Leap" ability enhanced his perception, and he immediately felt the world around him slow down.

At the same time, he felt his chakra flow increasing at an alarming rate.

But Uchiha Kei was no stranger to using this power, so he was perfectly comfortable. The moment Uchiha Yuu was about to strike, Uchiha Kei used the Body Flicker Technique to dodge.

After avoiding the attack, Uchiha Kei leisurely thrust his kunai into the back of Uchiha Yuu.

The lightning-infused chakra exploded inside Uchiha Yuu's body. Because Uchiha Kei had avoided the vital points, Uchiha Yuu simply lost the ability to continue fighting.

"Is that all you've got?" Uchiha Kei sneered. "What does it matter if you're strong? You've already failed. You're just a worthless prisoner of mine now."

"Hmph," Uchiha Yuu grunted. His eyes burned red as he stared at Uchiha Kei. "You don't dare kill me, do you? You could have done it already, but instead, you've tied me up here."

"That's right," Uchiha Kei nodded. "I don't want to kill you. You still have many important things to do while you're alive. You're far more useful to me alive than dead."

"Aren't you afraid I'll kill myself?" Uchiha Yuu's expression was dark and cruel, and with his bloodshot eyes, he looked truly evil.

Hearing this, Uchiha Kei nodded before walking over to Uchiha Yuu's side.

He crouched down, raised his right hand, and in the next moment, a terrible electric arc crackled in his palm. With a swift motion, he plunged it into Uchiha Yuu's shoulder!

The screams echoed through the secret training room, but Uchiha Kei ignored them as he moved on, using the same method to strike Uchiha Yuu's other shoulder and both thighs.

By the time Uchiha Kei finished, Uchiha Yuu's screams had ceased—his throat was hoarse, and he could no longer make a sound.

However, Uchiha Kei didn't care about the man's condition. Looking at the scorched flesh, the lightning had cauterized the wounds, but without treatment, Uchiha Yuu wouldn't survive.

Taking out some medical supplies from his ninja tool pouch, Uchiha Kei applied the necessary ointments and bandaged his wounds to prevent infection.

"Now, it will be hard for you to die," Uchiha Kei said calmly after finishing his work. "Until my experiment is complete, you'll find it impossible to die."

"I swear... I will kill you! I will!" Uchiha Yuu rasped, his voice filled with anguish. "Either you kill me now, or I will make sure I kill you!"

"Don't worry," Uchiha Kei replied with cold indifference. "When my experiment is finished, you'll be dead. By then, maybe someone will be there to keep you company. Someone very close to you."

"You bastard!" As soon as Uchiha Kei finished speaking, Uchiha Yuu's face twisted into a more grotesque expression.

Who was the person closest to him?

It was his family—his parents, his brother, and the person he loved most!

Uchiha Kei's words struck deep into Uchiha Yuu's heart. Although he didn't believe, and couldn't imagine, that Uchiha Kei would actually go that far, now that he himself was caught, how could he not worry?

This kid, Uchiha Kei, was like a venomous snake—sneaky and insidious. Even when fighting him, he had always been hiding!

This kid's Sharingan was incredibly strong, and his speed was unbelievable, yet he always waited until the very last moment.

He had been in situations where he thought Uchiha Kei was as good as dead, but each time, Uchiha Kei had turned the tables on him!

He was like a snake—lurking in the shadows, waiting to strike and end your life at any moment.

Uchiha Kei had no idea how Uchiha Yuu now saw him, but if he knew, he would probably be pleased.

After all, how else could one survive in this world if they didn't act like a snake?

And Uchiha Yuu wasn't wrong—his first use of genjutsu was indeed underhanded.

However, the second time was purely the use of a special power, which couldn't exactly be called cheating, though the result was certainly infuriating.

Ninjas never revealed their trump cards or exposed their abilities lightly, and Uchiha Kei wasn't about to do so either.

His abilities were strange and unpredictable. If he revealed them, who knew what kind of unwanted attention it might attract?

Just think of Uchiha Shisui, who exposed his powers—the consequences were disastrous. Uchiha Kei was determined not to make such a foolish mistake.

After tightly binding Uchiha Yuu to prevent him from moving, Uchiha Kei shoved some food into his mouth and then calmly left the secret training room.

To ensure that this place wasn't easily discovered, Uchiha Kei had taken great care to disguise it. Otherwise, he wouldn't have hidden his most important journal here.

"The first target is ready. The second target is Uchiha Shuu."

On the way back, Uchiha Kei thought to himself, "But without a proper sustenance system, this could be problematic. If this guy doesn't eat or drink, it's going to be trouble. Looks like I'll have to visit the hospital and see if I can get some nutrient solutions to inject into him."

Using nutrient solutions to sustain critically ill patients was a common practice everywhere. He didn't have the technical support or resources like Orochimaru, so he would have to go with the simplest and most primitive methods.

Uchiha Kei couldn't help but feel a bit helpless—he seemed to lack everything, whether it was money or manpower.

However, there was something to be thankful for. His current strength was enough to stand firm in this era, but in the future, especially in a decade or so, he might really have no choice but to rely on others.

"Thankfully, I still have about ten years to prepare. I don't believe I'll still be a weakling by then!"
