After two days of travel, Ryuji and Tanjiro arrived in the South-Southeast area.
Far from the city, they returned to the familiar mountains. This made Tanjiro incredibly comfortable, as he had grown up in the mountains.
The two quickly descended the mountainside to the nearby villagers' fields. Following the path between the fields, Ryuji planned to visit a nearby village to inquire about the situation.
As soon as they reached the village entrance, they saw a familiar figure kneeling by the roadside, clinging to a young woman and pleading bitterly, "Please! Please! Marry me! I don't know when I'll die, so I want to get married first. Please, please, you must marry me!"
"Ryuji! I think I see Zenitsu Agatsuma!" Tanjiro couldn't believe he'd encounter Zenitsu Agatsuma in the South-Southeast area.

The girl looked at Ryuji and was captivated by his delicate features and unique aura.
"So handsome!" Her eyes shone with adoration. She slapped Zenitsu across the face, then shyly approached Ryuji, taking his hand. "Little brother, will you marry me?"
Zenitsu was thunderstruck, wishing he could die on the spot!
"Waaaaah! I don't want to live anymore!" Zenitsu immediately reached for his Nichirin sword to commit suicide.
Seeing this, Tanjiro stopped him. "Zenitsu, don't be reckless!"
"Ryuji stole my woman, and I can't beat him. I don't want to live! Waaaaah~"
"No! I have to tell Ryuji's fiancée about this and have her teach him a lesson!"
Zenitsu started crying and clinging to Ryuji.
Faced with such a forward girl, Ryuji was somewhat surprised but not particularly excited. He calmly refused. "I'm sorry, I already have a fiancée."
Hearing this, the girl's face fell, her hopes dashed.
Ryuji then gave Zenitsu a sharp rap on the forehead. "Zenitsu, you don't even know this girl, and she hasn't agreed to marry you. How can you say I stole your woman?!"
