Darithi answered, and Ytrisia's breathless but sharp voice came through.
> "The attackers have been suppressed. I handled them myself. No real resistance. But Sugar... she didn't show after taking away that villain. Did she make it back?"
Darithi looked toward her master.
He said nothing at first—just kept watching the blur of trees rush past the window.
She turned back to the phone. "Come back."
There was a brief pause on the other end.
> "Alright. Returning."
Click.
The call ended.
A few seconds passed in silence before Darithi spoke, her voice low and controlled.
"Sugar betrayed us," she said, then added, "She took Nano. Slipped away after Ytrisia dealt with the enemies. She must've waited for the opening."
A smirk tugged at Cruxius's lips. He was amused—everything was unfolding exactly as he had planned.
"Good."
Darithi tilted her head in confusion. Not understanding but staying focused on her duty, she asked, "Should we pursue her?"
