The grand hall doors swung open.
Alpha stepped in with steady strides. He didn't stop. Didn't glance left or right. The guards stood lined on either side, silently watching. Even their breathing seemed quieter.
His blue cloak swayed with every step. A light sword hung at his side. His eyes were fixed straight on the throne.
At the far end of the hall, the king sat on his throne, surrounded by four advisors and a few nobles. No one spoke.
Alpha kept walking until he reached the center of the hall. He didn't kneel.
Some nobles exchanged glances. Others eyed him with indifference.
The king stared at him for several long seconds, then tilted his head slightly saying nothing.
Alpha remained silent. Just stood there, as if expecting them to understand something that hadn't been spoken yet.
A heavy silence settled over the room.
Then, finally, the king spoke:
"You caused a bit of chaos upon your arrival."
