VIRAAJ'S POV
"What did you tell her??" Abhi demanded, his tone sharp and accusatory. He had a fierce protective streak in him, and I knew he would stop at nothing to get answers.
I leaned back in my chair, sighing deeply. I knew I couldn't avoid this conversation forever, but the last thing I wanted to do was talk about her.
It was midnight, and sleep continued to evade me. Every time I closed my eyes, a vision of her teary eyes haunted my mind, stirring up emotions that I couldn't quite place. After returning from Roy Villa, I had locked myself in my home office, seeking solitude and avoiding any interactions. However, my moment of peace was rudely interrupted by this 'fucker' who was now sitting in front of me, unwilling to give me the peace and quiet I so desperately craved.
I let out a heavy sigh, turning my gaze towards Abhimanyu who was already watching me intently.
"I told her the truth," I stated simply, my voice calm as I began to shuffle through some documents on my desk, or at least pretending to do so.
"Why??" He asked, he has been bugging me since he entered here.
"Why so suddenly interested in my life and taking her side" I asked being frustrated
"Because you have done the wrong thing, viraaj" I was slightly taken back by surprise when he called me by my Name. He called me by my when he knew I had done something wrong which is never. He called me by my name last time when we were kids and after that, now. Did I really messed up??
"I did the right thing, I can't give her fake hope or keep her in dark" I told him who shooked his head.
"She is not like her" he stated, and for the first time in so many years I am seeing him talking about her
"How do you know??" I asked in anger, her mention was enough for me to loose my control. No one should be like her. She got what she deserves and no one shall talk about her
"I know and you know that I never take someone's side" he stood up, his hands in his pocket
"Then why now??" I also stood up and came infront of him, my expressions hard but I knew he was telling the truth
"She fucking cares for your family, you fucker. She smiled for the first time today and after that fucking truth to her and you know when..when she was talking about your siblings " he stated in his firm voice.
I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose before turning around. I knew about what he was talking. Throughout the whole ceremony I only saw her smiling once and that too when she saw mom and after that she smiled only when she talked about my siblings according to him.
I was talking on the phone when I noticed both them talking. Her expressions were blank but she smiled after sometime while saying something.
"You are going to regret your decision, raaj. Mark my words. Do whatever you want but don't hurt her. She is my sister now" he said and left, leaving me alone to deal with my fucking mind. I stood shocked after he said that she is his sister now. This fucker never make relations and I don't know what happened to him. He only treat Ruhi and Ruhanika as his sisters but now he made her his sister. But I know one thing that this is the first time I saw him taking stand for someone.
I know what I said to her was not good and no girl would want to hear these types of things on her engagement day what can I do. I don't want her to be live with me while having fake hopes. I noticed how she was interacting with my family and how my family is head over heels for her.
I shook my head to avoid thinking about her, she's not even my wife yet but still she can manage to mess up with my mind. I don't know what will happen when she will be my wife.
I sighed and began working on a new project.
SHREYA'S POV
"Heyyyyyyy" I was welcomed in a bear hug by non other than Ruhi, who squealed and jumped on me.
I couldn't control my chuckle at her enthusiasm and hugged her back.
"Kaisa hai Chhota bachha??" I teased her
"Bhabhiii!!!" She stomped her feet on the ground like a kid that she is.
I laughed and ruffled her hair before asking her about everyone in the family.
"Where were you going??" I turned around when I heard Abhi Bhai's voice, there he was standing behind me with his famous blank face.
"To airport" I said and smiled.
"Come I will drop you" he said and opened the door for Ruhi and then me before I could say anything or even try to deny him
"Okay" I shrugged and sat inside on the passenger seat. I am not in the state to drive my car throughout the way because of what ever happened just few minutes back.
But I am happy that dadu agreed on my wish. It's all I want, nothing more.
"So bhabhi, kyu Jaa rhe ho aap??" I heard Ruhi asking me. She came here with bhai because of the basket Bhai was holding when he entered in the house. It was a basket of shagun filled with dry fruits and other things, according to their traditions and she wanted to meet me so she came with him and he came because he was present there at that time for some work with Viraaj.
"My bestfriend is coming back from Bangalore after 2 years " I told her and found myself smiling at the thought of meeting my jigar ka tukda after so long.
"Your bestfriend??" She again asked and I nodded my head
"Tell me about her" she again asked, I turned my head with a big smile on my face.
"Ohh Godd!! Where do I start... She is the only one who was with me throughout my childhood, my teenage and my adulthood. If someone other than me calls her their bestfriend she would smack them in their face. She never like to talk to strangers unless I told her so. She is really have that B face. You know na I can't say that word with you" I said and noticed Ruhi looking at me with done face
"I know all of these words" Ruhi said and flopped her hair
"Uh-huh " Abhi Bhai said and looked at her wfrom the front mirror
I controlled my laugh when she widened her eyes after realising what she said and inform of whom.
"Bhabhi you continue" she hurriedly looked at me with puppy eyes, asking me to help her
"Haan, toh I was saying ki, koi usse baat nahi karna chahta tha because she used to walk around with her B face. But she is the most softest person you will ever meet. In my school time no one would ever dare to mess up with me because of her. She made me what I am today. she taught me how to fight for myself and walk while carrying confidence in my face. Everyone deserves a bestfriend like her. I miss her so much." I sighed and looked outside the window to control my emotions. I really miss my jigar ka tukda
"She's really nice, bhabhi. I can tell that from your talks only. Now I also can't wait to meet her" she squealed and started talking about her school and many other things.
I looked beside me, Abhi Bhai was busy in driving and focused on the road.
After some time we reached the airport and I toh literally jumped from the car and walked towards the door from where all the passengers will be coming.
I was waiting eagerly for her to come and was constantly watching my watch to see the time.
"Keep patience bhabhi" Ruhi giggled on seeing my excitement.
"I can't" I literally jumped on my feet slightly when I saw passenger exiting the airport.
One by one many passengers came and by each person my excitement was touching the sky and I was nervous for I don't know why, and my wait was over. She came carrying grace and confidence on her face, she wore a simple white shirt tucked in beige pants and her favourite heels. She is pretty tall and still she loves to wear heels. Her black waist length hair were tied in a low ponytail and face without any makeup and hands adorned with some rings. She loves to wear rings just like me. Hehehe bestfriend goals.
"Siyuuuuu" I screamed while waving my hands aggressively so that she can notice me. She heard my voice and looked in my direction before her resting Bitch face expressions were replaced by a wide grin. She also waved at me with a wide smile on her face. I chuckled when I saw how she was practically running to reach the security check.
"She is so gorgeous, bhabhi" I heard Ruhi saying, I turned and looked at her who was still looking in Siya's direction. I chuckled and murmured a yes. Beside her I saw Abhi Bhai also looking in Siya's direction but with blank expression. He knew I was looking at him so he said
"She is your bestfriend??"
I looked back in her direction and saw her coming towards me. Her sling bag was handing on her side and I noticed a kid speeding towards her direction. He looked around him and snatched her bag before adopting his pace to run
NO WAY, Shit- Ohh!!! this bitch didn't even let me complete my reaction. Because, she grabbed that teens collar from the back not giving him a chance to run away and slapped him as soon as he turned. This was the least thing I expected from her. If she wanted he wouldn't be able to stand on his legs but still she slapped him. On seeing this some officers came towards her and said something. Maybe asking her what was wrong.
"Ohh woww, she is soo cool" Ruhi exclaimed and I chuckled at her squealing.
I looked towards siya, that teen was now crying and this was her weakness, she can't see kids crying. She said something to him and took out some cash from her purse before giving it to him.
"Yeah, This is my bestfriend" I said and looked at Bhai who was now looking at me.
" See bhabhi she is coming" Ruhi said and I looked in her direction and saw her coming towards me.
I hurried towards her and she also left her luggage before coming in my direction and I hugged her tightly.
"I missed you" we both said at the same time and both of our voices cracked. I realised that my eyes were filled with tears when her face started to get blurry.
We broke the hug and looked at each other.
"Finally!!!" She said and hugged me again, basically squishing the life out of me. I laughed and hugged her tightly.
"Chal, thak gayi hogi. Take some rest" I said and she nodded before going back and collecting her luggage.
We both reached near Ruhi and Bhai. I looked at siya and introduced her to them
"Siyu, she is Ruhi" I said, I already told her her about everyone in Viraaj's family.
"Ohh, the little sweetheart" she said and forwarded her hand in Ruhi's direction
"I am siya, sweetie" she introduced herself and Ruhi giggled before shaking her hand.
"And he is Abhi Bhai, Abhimanyu Rai Singhania" I introduced her to abhi Bhai. She again stretched he rhand in his direction for a handshake. This is a professional behaviour of her, she never interact with man as she thinks they are after women only for their body and boys for being immature. But she is an hopeless romantic and a great addict to novels. She believes in love but doesn't believe that she will get love from someone.
Abhi Bhai looked at her and nodded before returning towards the car without shaking hand.

Siya looked at me and smirked, something is cooking in her head.
"He is a little introvert" Ruhi exclaimed awkwardly.
"Ohh it's fine" she waved off the topic before Ruhi walked behind him.
"I am feeling that It will be fun to irritate him" she looked in my direction with a wicked smile
"Don't you dare, he is not like what he looks like." I warned her but I knew she won't be the one who will listen to me.
"We will see" she said and I chuckled. Then we both walked towards the car.
