~Alex's POV
"Drive faster," I snapped, my fingers tapping against my knee.
Luca glanced at me but didn't say anything. He pressed the gas harder, the car speeding through the streets.
Something felt wrong.
My gut had been twisting ever since we left Michael's hospital. I couldn't explain it, but I just knew.
And when we pulled up in Bella's driveway, my stomach dropped.
"What the hell?" Luca muttered, eyes narrowing.
Several unfamiliar cars were parked outside.
"Stay close," I ordered, shoving the car door open.
Luca was already ahead of me, his stance shifting into something ready for a fight.
The second I stepped inside, I froze.
A strange man had Bella pinned against the wall.
Her dress was slightly torn, her hair a mess, her face streaked with tears.
And that bastard had his hands on her.
Something snapped inside me.
"Get your filthy hands off her," I growled.
The man turned, and I saw it, the sick amusement in his eyes.
