Isabella stood frozen, stunned by the fact that her attack didn't injure it in the slightest. However, she soon understood how.
Surrounding the robot was a transparent bubble that rippled slightly in the aftershock of the attack. It had absorbed her attack successfully, eliminating the threat it posed to the robot.
"I... lost."
She said wistfully.
"Simulation Complete: Result: Defeat - Margin: 3.1%"
The robot powered down upon hearing the results and returned to standby mode, the energy walls deactivated in its wake.
Isabella stepped off the stage, her eyes capturing the reactions of her classmates. Several of them, those she'd made friends with, were offering her comforting and encouraging words, saying she did well.
'Ah~ this joy is wonderful.'
"Isabella."
