One led Kael to his room in silence. As they arrived, the tall figure stopped by the door and said in a hollow voice,
"I shall let you rest now, my lord."
Then, like smoke fading into air, he vanished.
Kael smirked inwardly.
'Rest? I've been doing nothing but resting these past days. What I need now… is to move.'
He entered the room, dropped his bag beside the bed, and quietly organized a few pieces of clothing in the wardrobe. His fingers brushed over the training uniform from the academy—simple, flexible, and familiar. He changed into it without hesitation and stepped out into the dim hallway, his feet carrying him toward the underground training chamber.
As the door closed behind him, a silence settled around him—thick and still.
