Landon's POV
{Kelsey's Residence - 9:02 A.M}
After eating breakfast, Kelsey was in the living room with Lila, both of them curled up together under the big blanket. Cartoons played on the TV, and Lila giggled every few seconds. Kelsey smiled faintly, rubbing her daughter's back. Lila lay on her mother's lap.
She was enjoying her weekend, healing after yesterday's event. She was aware that rumours about her had spread like wildfire, but she chose to ignore it.
I stood near the archway, watching for a moment. Then I stepped forward. I had something to take care of today. It was related to the message my grandfather sent to me. If I don't go to him, he might send people after me and Kelsey will know my secret.
She will definitely hate me forever after that.
Kelsey looked up when she noticed me. I signed slowly, "I need to go out for a few hours."
Kelsey blinked, surprised. She pushed the blanket aside and stood, walking over to me.
