"Julia, is there something wrong?" Sophie asked weakly.
Julia said the director decided to shoot an additional night scene tonight and told her to hurry to the set.
"Stop the car, I want to get off."
"What's going on?" Asher ignored Sophie, thinking she was just being temperamental.
"I need to go to the set."
"I'll take you," Asher said without hesitation.
"No." Sophie refused decisively. However, seeing Asher's expression, she worried he'd think she was just being difficult, so she felt the need to explain.
"It's getting late. If you take me there, the crew will start gossiping, and I'm afraid it will affect my mood for filming."
Asher thought for a moment; he should be considerate of her. Although she often appeared strong in front of him, he could see that hint of vulnerability deep inside her. Since being with him, she had indeed endured many rumors, which could affect her emotional state.
He had no choice but to pull the car over and let her leave.
