Ariel Morris instinctively grabbed his hand, speaking with earnest eyes once more, "Arlo, can you answer this question? If I don't stay with you until the end, will you occasionally think of me in old age?"
Her hand clasped around his wrist, unmindful in her fluster, her grip a little too tight. The seriousness in her eyes reflected in his gaze, deepening as Arlo Seys allowed her to hold his wrist tightly, bearing silently the pain from her inexplicable anxiety.
