"It's nothing much," the old man said, his expression tinged with melancholy as he looked at Aiden Jiang and explained, "I was sleeping at noon, but Zane woke me up, saying there's something that needs my decision."
Aiden Jiang nodded, acknowledging it.
"Can it be said now?" The old man glanced at Zane Jackson with a hint of reproach, "On such a hot day, you won't let people have peace, gathering all these people, what's this all about?"
"Please don't be angry." Zane Jackson quickly placated him with a smile, "The matter is rather sensitive, and I couldn't speak without basis, which would trouble you. I called everyone over so we could clarify things face-to-face for the sake of the children."
He glanced at Lydia Williams, "Where's Koa?"
"Almost here," Lilian Jackson walked in from the doorway, phone in hand, smiling, "He's on the way."
Mia Ginger raised her eyes to glance at her.
Lilian Jackson smiled at her, turned around, and leisurely walked out again.
Overjoyed.
